A 2000 is up for sale in NY.  Looks like it is a crate bike.  Don't know the VIN (might be 1535?).  Asking $9,900.  Good luck with that, guys.

Keep the rubber side down.  Even when a snake attacks you at 155mph.

Maggie Valley- Excelsior Henderson Road Club -Group Ride
Maggie Valley, NC, September 26th-29th 2013

Agenda
Quick Note from Dave Lockhart:
Thanks for attending what is becoming a great yearly tradition in Maggie Valley. Below are a few items I wanted to share with the group.
All of the scheduled rides are voluntary and were recommended by avid riders. Western NC offers some phenomenal riding and scenery. We hope to have a large group participate in the rides but with so many options, we understand that some may want to conquer unchartered territories during their stay.

Meals are basically set up as a great place to eat and also offer a rallying point for departures. Evening dinners are the right time to tell tall tales about riding  your  X on 1 wheel up and back on the dragon! Meal times are also a great chance to sync with friends and spend some time catching up. We hope you will be able to join as many group events as possible.

I encourage everyone to exchange some cell phone numbers and, if you head out on your own ride, have a few contacts to reach out to from the attending group. There will be several folks trailering in; if you run into a snag, we will be happy to get you back to the group locations and assist as needed. My cell number is 919 931 9128

Ok- Now on to the fun!!!!!!

9:15 AM – Chart a course to Copperhead Loop http://www.motorcycleroads.com/75/1335/North-Carolina/The-Copperhead-Loop.html
We will depart Maggie Valley and head towards Waynesville where we will pick up the loop. The Copperhead Loop is about 77 miles in total and you add another 15 getting there from Maggie Valley. This ride should provide great roads and scenery as well as plentiful areas to stop for gas and grab lunch along the way.
Since we will be coming in from the NW, we will be starting at the top and looping around as follows: 215 South, to 64 East and then ride the loop back to the top on 276N
12:00 PM – 1:00 PM Lunch on the Road! Location TBD by where we are!
1:00 PM – 5:00 PM Afternoon Ride, Group choice! This will allow those that may want to explore different areas of Western NC to plot a course and go enjoy the scenery. I will look to veterans of the area to offer potential destinations; this will fulfill those with an open mind that don’t care where we are going as long as we are out on a ride. Whatever course we plot, we will make a plan to be back in Maggie Valley to sync up for Dinner.
6:30 PM – 8:30 PM - Dinner in Maggie Valley - Reservations will be made this week

Came across these paintings in a gallery that just opened downtown.  I talked to the curator for a bit and promised I'd let guys in the club know about it.
