Some good friends of mine have been scammed in July 2014 by a society led by the same Jonathan Floril you see / hear playing here, called the Mahler Philharmoniker in Vienna.
The Mahler Philharmoniker is a fraudulent society and orchestra. It is not a professional orchestra, but at best a students orchestra that underpays its students (if they get paid). They organise the Salzburg Voice Festival (not to be confused with the wonderful Salzburg Festival) to lure young opera singers and musicians from around the world by making false promises (masterclasses with orchestra, a "professional" singing / conductors competition) and using the funds paid by the students (2.500 EUR per student) for their own interest and pockets.
This year they cashed in approximately 50 to 60.000 EUR in total from participants in the Salzburg Voice Festival and another conductors competition they organise. They used maybe 20.000 EUR of this to organise some very badly organised masterclasses and a final concert in the Schloss Shönbrunn where none of the participants in the Voice Festival were allowed to sing solo (as promised), instead giving one of the board of directors, the very average mezzo-soprano Therese Mahler a chance to "shine". This miss Mahler is (a) not a mezzo-soprano and (b) actually can not sing at all. The remaining 30.000 EUR is unaccounted for.
More information on this scandal can be found on:http://www.projectopera.org/mahlerphilscandal.pdf. Jonathan Floril and his accomplice Therese Mahler people should be stopped, refund all students that have been frauded and if, in any way possible, brought to justice.

Swiss soprano Therese Mahler and Spanish-Ecuadorian pianist Jonathan Floril. These people should be stopped, refund all students that have been frauded and brought to justice.
