Conclusion by David Sloan Wilson: "The idea that something as scientific and biological as medicine might not be evolutionary has to be explained to a lot of people. It’s wonderful to get this snapshot of cancer research from an evolutionary perspective and congratulations for all the great successes you’ve been having."

My comment: All the serious scientists I know are "Combating Evolution to Fight Disease." They have learned the difference between a mutation and an RNA-mediated amino acid substitution and they are citing Dobzhansky (1973), which includes an important example of that difference. http://comments.sciencemag.org/content/10.1126/science.1247472

The experience-dependent de novo creation of olfactory receptor genes links UV light from hydrogen-atom transfer in DNA base pairs to nutrient-dependent RNA-mediated cell type differentiation in all cell types of all individuals of all living genera.

The links from the energy of sunlight via atoms to ecosystems have been established by serious scientists at every level of investigation, and they have been reported in the context of experimental evidence of biologically-based cause and effect.

The experimental evidence links metabolic networks to genetic networks in organized genomes via microRNAs, adhesion proteins, and supercoiled DNA that protects the organized genomes from virus-driven entropy.

The fact that none of this information is included in the report on de novo gene creation attests to how much pseudoscientific nonsense about mutations and evolution has been taught to the researchers who published their results and to anyone involved in the peer review process at PLOS Genetics.

All serious scientists will continue to laugh at those who choose to remain biologically uninformed until they learn how to link RNA-mediated events to morphological and behavioral phenotypes and quit touting pseudoscientific nonsense.

Excerpt: "Sophocles first wrote in his Greek civil war play "Antigone": "no one loves the messenger who brings bad news." And when all roads led to ancient Rome, and messengers were sent about delivering the news, a revolutionary change occurred in communications tactics: killing the messenger to prevent the communication from taking place."

My comment: The bad news for neo-Darwinian evolutionary theorists is that RNA-mediated DNA repair is required for cell type differentiation that is perturbed by viruses, which accumulate and cause entropy in nutrient energy-dependent organized genomes. The bad news means there is nothing left of any ridiculous theories.

Each time you see the claim that humans evolved in Africa or anywhere else, ask how that might be possible if the physiology of reproduction was not nutrient-dependent and pheromone-controlled. Then, ask how any organism “evolved” in the context of neo-Darwinian nonsense about mutations and natural selection.

Excerpt: Only highly exceptional proteins even have a shape, and these shapes are therefore fragile. Mutations are tolerated to a modest extent, after which all shape is lost.

My comment: This can be viewed inside the context of nutrient-dependent RNA-mediated amino acid substitutions and cell type differentiation, which is controlled by the physiology of reproduction. Facts can be compared to other facts about virus-driven genomic entropy and undifferentiated cell types that arise due to the accumulation of viruses that steal the energy required for cell type differentiation.

Alternatively, it can be viewed in the context of neo-Darwinian theories of mutation-driven evolution in which information leads to undifferentiated cell types that become new species instead of cancerous pathologies or other cell types associated with all other virus-driven pathologies.

Excerpt: If, at the end of the semester, you believed that these bacteria "evolved" their ability to choose when to sporulate, you might continue to ignore this fact:

Their biophysically constrained nutrient-dependent RNA-mediated thermodynamic cycles of protein biosynthesis and degradation are controlled by the physiology of their reproduction in the context of fixed RNA-mediated amino acid substitutions and gene duplication.

It has become obvious to many serious scientists that microRNAs control the development of the body and the brain in insect species and in mammals. Control appears to involve the finely tuned balance of viral microRNAs and nutrient-dependent microRNAs. That balance links the microRNA/messenger RNA balance to RNA-mediated cell type differentiation via amino acid substitutions in the context of the biophysically constrained chemistry of protein folding. Proper protein folding (sans mutations) links the physiology of reproduction to the fixation of amino acid substitutions in the organized genomes of all living genera. Viruses and accumulated viral microRNAs perturb protein folding, which links them to pathology instead of to healthy longevity via what is known about nutritional epigenetics and pharmacogenomics.

“The Sum Of Our Parts” is RNA-mediated, because the biophysically constrained chemistry of nutrient-dependent RNA-mediated protein folding links our nutrient-dependent parts to the physiology of reproduction and the nutrient-dependent parts of all genera. Viruses perturb protein folding, which is how they perturb the development of the nutrient-dependent parts.

That is why the understanding of the innate immune system of all genera has become more important to serious scientists who are Combating Evolution to Fight Disease.

Excerpt: "...these elements are involved in everything from transporting oxygen and releasing hormones to regulating blood pressure and maintaining bone strength. They also give a burst of color when they are added to a fireworks recipe."

My comment: An epigenetic (above the genome) trap links the speed of light in a vacuum to the speed of light when it is slowed on contact with water. The epigenetic trap causes the light-induced de novo creation of amino acids.

The de novo creation of amino acids is subsequently linked to our enhanced color perception via nutrient-dependent RNA-mediated amino acid substitutions that differentiate all of our cell types in all of our tissues from the cell types of other species via our pheromone-controlled physiology of nutrient-dependent reproduction.

For example see Dobzhansky (1973): "...the so-called alpha chains of hemoglobin have identical sequences of amino acids in man and the chimpanzee, but they differ in a single amino acid (out of 141) in the gorilla" (p. 127).

Enjoy the "fireworks" when someone tries to tell an evolutionary theorist about how RNA-mediated cell type differentiation links ecological variation to our ecologically adapted ability to enjoy celebrations enhanced by pyrotechnic displays.

The understanding of pyrotechnics also links quantum physics and biophysically constrained chemistry on this planet to the conserved molecular mechanisms of protein folding in our organized genomes outside the context of "big bang" cosmology.

Simply put, this year's Fourth of July celebration may be a "theory killer". BANG! You ridiculous theories about evolved biodiversity are dead.
