Walking in the beautiful old downtown farmers market we strolled into one of downtowns newest wine bar/tasting rooms, Scotto's Wine & Cider.  We were greeted by our old friend Janice, who has been in wine industry for many years.  Janice is a social butterfly who knows almost everyone.  She will have a glass of wine in your hand almost before you sit down.  The bar itself is awesome with a giant chalk wall, exposed brick and rustic wood features.  Scotto's serves everything from red to white to cider and even a few mixes to satisfy everyone's taste.  We decided, because of the heat, to have a cider and asked for one that was not too sweet, but yummy.  Janice gave us a glass of yummy blueberry zin cider in a mason jar...very cool.  We enjoyed our glass while people watching the hundreds people strolling the market in the street.  After we finished we moved on down the market to meet up with some friends at the Lodi Chamber of Commerce.  We all walked down the middle of School St where vendors are set up for four city blocks.  There you can find farmers fruits and vegetables, food trucks, live music and more.  We all strolled down to Dancing Fox where we ran into the Mayor and his wife.  With a glass of wine in hand we made small talk until the end of the evening.
