Oi! Did you know that most women will use approximately 12,000 sanitary products in her menstruation lifetime. If you use conventional synthetic tampons and pads, they will take over 500 years or more to break down . . . . unless you make a change to organic cotton. Makes you think? Biodegradable is not debatable. There is another choice. www.oi4me.com

Thanks @juliaandlibby for the glowing thumbs-up! It means a lot and your support will really help. Julia also added in the comments: "They are very affordable! I checked out their website last night and was surprised at how cheap they were considering they are organic! Jx". smile emoticon

We’ve liberated the cool slogans from our boxes to sit with pride on these great white tees. With two slogans to choose from, now’s your chance to be revolutionary and join the Oi movement. Better for you! Better for the Environment!  www.oi4me.com

Today we dropped some Oi pads down to the Auckland City Mission, a small but significant and very practical start. Toiletries are a simple and seemingly benign little thing, but sorely needed at the mission, and a necessity often overlooked in donations.
If menstrual care was classified as healthcare, essential feminine hygiene products would be free and available for all socially disadvantaged women on prescription, thus restoring a small measure of dignity for those less fortunate.

If you would like to help, please drop off much needed sanitary care products at the Auckland City Mission, or the equivalent in your area, or you can support RAW women through our website with our ‘buy a box, give a box’ initiative.

Periods, its something we all have in common.
