and it is there for a good reason. Kojima wanted the games to be educational and to spark interest in things outside of just the game. One of my favourite things about the games is all the random, interesting stuff they talk about like science, technology, nukes, movies, plants, animals, etc. The first game had me hooked on science and genetics after about an hour, before I had any education in it (stupid Irish catholic primary schools suck for that). I can't stand when people say it's too long and boring and they don't wanna watch a game. They have no idea what they are talking about and their priorities are backwards. Most other games I play I spend hours killing everything and get nothing out of it when I'm done.
