Great service, friendly servers, and amazing food. The original 5 napkin burger was cooked to perfection. I asked for medium rare meat, and it was by far the best I've ever seen. I would definitely recommend this place.

Disappointed all around. The best part of the "burger" was the bun and the toppings. I ordered online to pick up. The website told me estimated pick up time - 30 minutes. I got there 30 minutes later to a near empty restaurant. Don't know what would take 30 minutes to make my fairly simple order of Bacon Cheddar Burger and cheese tots. Well the order must have not taken 30 minutes and was sitting on the bar there for me when I got in there, and 2 minutes later when I got to my hotel room, the burger and the cheese tots were cold. Burger was warm, the tots were legitimately COLD. Other reviews say how huge the burgers are. Mine was not so big. It is not one of those big fat juicy burgers that is round and dripping with juice. It was one of those flat thin burgers that reminded me of those frozen pre made burgers that were served from the food service, thrown on the grill frozen and just cooked from there. The website allows you to choose your burger either medium or well-done. I put in the notes on my order medium rare. The burger was not hardly cooked. It wasn't medium rare. It was basically seared on both sides of the thin wimpy burger and then raw on the middle. The meat quality was poor since it was raw, I had to pick out all sorts of grisle and uncooked meat. Then the Bacon Cheddar burger further disappointed. There was no bacon on the burger. I think the cook was perhaps confounded by the infrequent "medium-rare" request and forgot about topping the Bacon Cheddar burger with bacon. To my dismay, the cold tots, numbered only 11 in a paper container that looked not so different from a fast food restaurant. With the paltry serving size, the cold 11 tots looked pathetic in the large container. The sesame brioche and toppings on the burger were satisfactory. The raw white onion on top was nice flavor and mild, and sliced nice and thin. The butter lettuce seemed fresh and clean. The cheese was melted and the bun toasted. But boil it all down and you have a burger that is 3x the price of a fast food burger, that is not even as good as a fast food burger, and all for what? Cause there is a burger fad that these guys had a vision to create the perfect burger? I can see what they had envisioned, and perhaps another location of theirs has it mastered, but the location in Back Bay, Boston missed by a long shot. Save your extra $10 and get a better fast food burger at any of the crappy little chains.

This was my first visit to a 5 Napkin Burger of any kind and I popped in for lunch, hoping to be in and out in 45 minutes. I was able to dine fairly quickly thanks to the speedy service. The burgers are HUGE, though, so don't be tempted to order onion rings in addition to your fries. Both onion rings and fries are delicious so it's hard to say no, but you'll just feel bad leaving food on the plate. Decent prices, quick service and super clean.

5 Napkin has a really nice atmosphere; very clean modern aesthetic with a really friendly wait staff. I'm pretty cheap, so I've stuck to the "Happy Hour" menu. The menu includes 3 sliders, wings, and taquitos. The "5N" Slider with caramelized onion and rosemary aioli was excellent. The taquitos were great, they're actually mini tacos instead of traditional rolled taquitos. The wings were pretty standard wings, but at $0.25 / wing, you can't complain. The bar looks pretty extensive and the menu has a ton of tasty sounding drinks; I opted to have the bartender make me a custom drink with mezcal and was not disappointed. Overall, it was a great experience. I'm probably heading back this week!

These burger joints just keep coming... This one tries to be fancy, but the burgers aren't great. They are big for sure, but that's about all they got going for them. The fries... well, skip them if you can. $15+ for a burger that I can barely remember, not my style. Beers are pretty expensive too $7-8. If you really have to come here, show up for happy hour menu. A little more reasonable.

Was pleasantly surprised by 5 Napkins. Went there for a work lunch and the assortment of not only burgers but sandwiches and salad's was awesome!! They also have regular new burger specials which I chose to go with. In this case, it was a burger on a pretzel roll with muenster cheese and mustard grilled onions. Definitely a change from your normal burger. I also went with the cheesy tater tots over the fries which was definitely a good decision so make sure when you go you ask for alternatives to the fries. I didn't get a chance to have any but I also noticed they had a great beer and wine selection which I was also unaware they had before going. Additionally, they have $2 Slider Happy Hours every night!
