NewsReplay for 10/08/2015
It's Day 1 of the Post Season and the Royals are coming at it from a far better position than last season. Game 1 of the ALDS against the Houston Astros starts tonight at 6:37pm CST. And now, here's the news:   Five ALDS questions: Astros are a legitimate t...

Shoulder Mobility
I've got a seriously bad case of Frozen Shoulder. How do I know? Because I read it online! I have diagnosed myself with what I believe to be a condition called "Frozen Shoulder." With this, one does not have any range of motion. I guess "any" isn't quite th...

Weakness
"Let the Spirit take over when you pray." What does that mean? To me, it's difficult to fully understand. My family went to a church where speaking in tongues was something that was done at all services. There was a faith healer there once, too. It was a sh...

#RoyalsHistory: Thank this man for the #Royals' existence.
What better way to get things done with a massive conglomerate than to hit them where it hurts most: the wallet. Enter Stuart Symington ( left ), a name you may not recognize but is of extreme importance if you're a Kansas City Royals fan. Symington, a Demo...

Pardon the Interruption
Despite the fact that this is just a place holder for my off-season activities, I did not realize that there was an interruption to my Twitter feed. Sorry for that. I was so caught up in the season that I haven't even looked at this page! I'll be watching a...

{As an aside, tomorrow I will start posting the ESV Study Bible daily readings that I'm starting. It's going to start in the midst of the Bible, so if you'd care to read backwards, you can. I will start it where it is for now, commenting as it moves forward.}

Despised
I've been known to despise authority. When I see a police car sitting on the side of the road, I think to myself "Don't you people have anything better to do than hassle me?" It's not like they're sitting there, waiting for me... but regardless of that I ca...

HBP: What's in a Stat?
Okay, lesser MLB teams here's the thing: Stop hitting our batters. It was fun the first 11 times, but with the news that Alex Rios has a fractured pinky enough is enough. We can only allow this strategy to carry us so far. Sure, you get to take a free base ...

Extreme bias follows: I love this place. I've only ever known this as the Royals home field. We had Municipal Stadium on the east side for several of the Royals first years, but Kauffman is the greatest ballpark in America. I know it's not the most high tech or storied park, but it's comfortable, clean, and well run. The hot dogs suck on buck night, but that's everywhere. It's pretty expensive, so bring your credit cards...

It's really the only gym in town where you don't feel like you need to work out somewhere else to be acceptible to the people who work out here. It's a family that sweats together. Enjoy hard workouts, quality coaching, and the pain hang over from a Leg Matrix. You'll learn soon enough that it's what they make you do in Hell before they let you in.

Mi Ranchito is a very good place for family dining. Their tamales are basically the only thing I ever get / look forward to eating. I have had the tacos, which are great as well. You can never go wrong, unless you show up when they're terribly busy. Prepare for a long wait.

My wife and I are purchasing our first home. From the moment I sent the inquiry through AmFam's website, Robert's been on top of everything. He took my initial information via SMS, ran the quotes and got them back to me quickly. He completed the review of the property and updated everything without any hassle. I'm already super happy and glad I made a change in policies and the decision to go with this local agent. I'm sure that if anything happens he'll be right there to help! I'm not saying I want a claim to happen, but I have no doubt he'll come through when we need him!
