This Hotel in Vancouver downtown has a poorly unprofessional check in stuff. The booking was handled by my University while when I got here they asked for a credit card in order to take 50 bucks as security deposit, while when we sent CC authorisation form they did mention anything about it. They also mentioned the breakfast is not included just when I got here, such a shame nowadays even a most ridicules motel gives you a breakfast when you book a room. The internet is locked for 24 hours while I am gonna stay here for 4 nights. None of internet and excluded breakfast was mentioned during booking as a policy which pretty much shows they are cheating. Even the check in manager didn't have a business card to give me when I asked for. Don't get fool with this hotel as it looks nice but they will act like a budget hotel.

The Hyatt Regency hotel in Vancouver is cleanclean, technologically advanced and perfect for business travel. We stayed for leisure and we're disappointed in the fact that the only water available was in the lobby or $3.50 in the room. The rooms are pricey but the location is great.

This place was pretty sweet! They made an error and we got upgrade to an executive sweet (instead of junior suite); not going to complain about THAT! The elevators can take a while to wait for when the place gets busy. The restaurant had a pretty mediocre breakfast foods we felt (have Diamond membership) - we've had much better from other relatively low level Hyatt Hotels before. Still, not bad place for the price. The location was awesome - right in the middle of downtown! Warning though: parking is not cheap, and the Hyatt doesn't manage the parking garage (weekend parking prices weren't too bad though). Will only likely be coming back here as long as the prices stay competitive. Won't likely rent a car next time, or if we do we won't likely come back here.

The room was spacious, staff was friendly, and washrooms were clean. I wouls only comment on the elevators as it seemed like i had to wait under 5 minutes for it to bring me up to the 34th floor.

Left a lot to be desired. When we showed up, we were told our reserved room was not available and we were forced to choose between a room with only a pullout couch or paying for an upgraded room that was more expensive than our reserved rate. The elevators were really slow, taking up to five minutes to show up because a new system they installed. Convenient location, clean rooms for the most part. We booked a conference room and realized the water provided by the hotel had garbage in it after we started drinking it... Less than stellar to say the least. Finally and most important to our comfort during our 4 night stay, the doors that connect two rooms so that you could have an expanded suite if needed were not insulated and sound traveled through them clearly and easily. During the day this was less of a problem because you mostly just heard what your neighbors were watching on TV. At night however, around 3 AM, drunk guests would return to their rooms from the bars and would be loudly be heard playing music and generally conversing. I don't blame the drunk people for wanting to enjoy themselves, but the thin doors between rooms meant that both rooms had to be ready for it. It woke me up multiple times during my stay and generally left a poor stain on the visit. Room service was on point, bed was comfortable. Front desk staff were nice.

I had a very enjoyable stay at the Hyatt Regency. The room was modern and confortable. The shower had great pressure and the bed actually gave me a good sleep! Check out was a breeze as well. Parking was approximately $35 overnight which was a little cheaper than expected.
