The accommodations were awesome including upgraded rooms with comfortable beds, comfortable bedding and clean facilities. However, most impressive was the service we received from the front desk, concierge and restaurant staff. The food at the breakfast buffet was so amazing (great selection and service). This is our third time staying here and our staff who have joined us twice, rave of the food and accommodations. We will be back:)

Let me to you, this hotel has been such a delight that next time I come into Vancouver I will book with them again!! The customer service was superb, with a friendly and helpful attentiveness, it made the hotel even more grand! The beds and the rooms were fabulous. Very thankful for the maid that came in daily and cleaned up the room nicely ! The elevators were awesome, with its high tech touch screen, it certainly made me feel like I entered a whole new world. Also, the Starbucks was a plus for me since I am in love with that place, haha. There was one night that our safe in the room didn't work and we had to call the tech/mechanical guy help fix it. He was very appropriate and he even rebuild me safe so this wouldn't happen again! It worked so much better than before and it felt more secure than those half screwed in bolts that someone did so carelessly before. One thing, that I can say POORLY about this hotel was the guest parking lot. Even if you booked your stay here, if you park your car daily/overnight, the prices is crazy high. We were only there for 2 nights and the parking costs came out to be 75 dollars! It was nuts.

Stayed at this hotel for 1 week. We had a balcony on the 8th floor which faced North and the view was great. The hotel is not too far from the Robson shops, Pacific Mall, and the Granville night life. The SkyTrain station is next door so that's another convenience. My three complaints was that WiFi is something you have had to pay for (I read other reviews of nearby hotels and that seems to be the norm), parkade security, and problem resolution. My car got broken into on the last day and a bunch of little things got taken. I got in touch with the VPD and filed a report. I then notified the front desk and I was able to speak to the Security Manager at the time. He confessed that he and his team were not watching the parkade at the time. I then spoke to the Hotel Manager and they were going to deduct one day off my parking costs. I didn't want to argue or fight for more incentives but I feel like they didn't go above and beyond for me. I now have to pay $500 to get my door and window fixed and I get $35 deducted off my 1 week stay.

I'm a frequent Hyatt lodger but had been somewhat embarrassed of my hometown Hyatt due to its age and uninspiring bar/restaurant. Well that's all in the past. The newly renovated Hyatt is a gleaming example of west-coast sustainable chic (check out the digital elevator keypad and minimalist LED floor lamps on the 2nd floor, next to washrooms). Mosaic has been given a modern face-lift, highlighting floor-to-ceiling windows, unobstructed views of the hipsters on Burrard st - at one point the sun was reflected off 2 buildings onto our window seat, which if you know Vancouver, is a rare treat! Food was amazingly appetizing & no less pleasing to the eye and service attentive. Impressed and proud to recommend it to locals and visitors alike.
