Hi Chris,
there is a new sanding option available - Roto rasp - multi awarded new sanding tool - much more efficient than any sanders in your guide
Have a look at www.rotodistribution.co.uk

I don't remember the exact question I had because it was a while back.  However, I will go ahead and mention 2 issues I have had the first is when I stripped a table I had a tough time getting a light to medium stain to actually stain the table.  I ended up going very dark.  Is there a trick to that?  I used pre-stain with the lighter color and it didn't do a thing then after I read the label on the pre-stain (that always helps) again it said that it only works with oil based stain and the dark stain was oil based.  Not saying you specifically but a lot of articles I read didn't really mention that.  The other issue I am having is getting bubbles in the finish.  I tried using a brush and didn't like the brush marks.  I prefer the foam for the polyurethane.  It worked very well on a small end table.  But when I was doing a dining room table with a much larger surface I had a very difficult time getting the a smooth application even when it was 1/2 polyurethane and 1/2 mineral spirits.  Any recommendations are appreciated.  Lastly, and I don't remember this in your post...again it has been a while.  I find that using a 1000 grit paper to polish the surface is good if the surface is small but when the surface is large, you can spend a lot of money on sand paper (which at that grit is expensive) because it doesn't cover much of a surface before the sandpaper is done!  Any recommendations on that? Keeping in mind that I am very new to this and don't have a lot of experience so if there is redundancy in my questions compared to things you have already posted, I apologize.
