Try this black bean sweet potato burger! 
Black bean sweet potato recipe
1 Cup black beans canned or cooked
2 Cups baked sweet potatoes
1 Cup cooked brown rice
1/2 Cup flax meal 
2 tsp ground cumin
2 tsp smoked paprika 
Salt-and-pepper to taste
1/2 cup diced hatch green chilies (optional – depending on your level of heat preference)

Preheat oven to 400°. Cook black beans, separately, and rice separately or prepare ahead. I like to use leftover rice and see potatoes from the night before, to make it a quicker process. Mix all ingredients together in a bowl. If the mixture is too wet, add more flax meal or rice. This mixture should easily form several patties. Grease a baking sheet with coconut oil in place formed patties on baking sheet and cook for 30 minutes. Flip once at the 15 minute mark.

Serve with a bun, by itself or wrapped in a nice piece of Romain lettuce. Top with tomatoes, avocado, onion, fresh sauerkraut! Enjoy!
