As a bicycle owner, I expect a bit of theft to occur. When my seat and post were stolen a few weeks ago, I understood. I just went and bought new ones.
This morning though, I noticed that there was more resistance than I expected and when I got to work, I discovered that the pin that attaches my front wheel to the bike had been stolen. The only thing holding my front wheel to my bike were the brakes. Seriously thieves, I understand greed, but this part can't be worth more than a few bucks, and losing a front wheel while riding among cars could have seriously ruined my day. Had you taken 20 extra seconds to steal my entire wheel, you would have made a better profit, and I would have been more likely to notice, and not ride it.
