Hey Modesto Developers, please join us on Wednesday, February 22nd at 5:30pm for the second meetup of the year at the MJC East campus in the new CAT building room 226 (near the Jeremy Lab). Salvador will explain how an "attacker could steal tokens from Samsung Pay and use them without restrictions implementing other methods or hardware" and what security precautions to take. We'll also be talking about iOT and vulnerabilities, using Raspberry Pi and Arduinos. Hope to see you there!

Okay #modesto GDGers, we'll be meeting up for our third Android Study Jams session on Friday, March 11, at 5:30p in the MJC East campus Jeremy Lab (room CAT 231). If you weren't able to make it to either of the last two sessions, you should still have time to catch up. We will be kicking off the Android Study Jams series on Friday, Feb 19 at 5:30p at the new Jeremy Lab (room CAT 231) in the new MJC east campus "CAT" building. Hey modesto GDGers, we're going to take a break from our normally scheduled program to talk about web application security. We'll go over some of the useful tools, general principals, best practices for building secure web sites and apps. Of course this means we'll also need to take a look at some of the common attacks from hackers...fun! We'll be back at the ModSpace conference room at 1010 10th Street in Downtown Modesto from 5:30p - 7:30p on Friday, November 20, 2105. Please send me a text or find me on hangouts or slack if you have trouble getting into the building.
