I should admit that I am not really fascinated by football either, I dont understand why people got so crazy about it. However most of the guys do so you are really an exception ;)) I absolutely agree, the foodballers are far overpaid and their salary are just not adequate for their jobs.

these photos are just stunning, very, very good. They depict  "human impact on Poland's environment" .
Side Effects is a new book from Kacper Kowalski, an award-winning aerial photographer and pilot, documenting the effects of human activity on the landscape in his native Poland

I like the idea and considering the obesity crisis it can bring  a lot of benefits to the society, beside this in the Soviet Union everything what was defined as voluntary in practice was actually mandatory so Putin can count on high attendance in this case.

I have forgotten what sort of pleasure  it is to read a good book.  this one is hilarious, all the absurdity of the human nature exposed in a funny and clever way ;))
“There was only one catch and that was Catch-22. Orr would be crazy to fly more missions and sane if he didn't, but if he was sane he had to fly them. If he flew them he was crazy and didn't have to; but if he didn't want to he was sane and had to.”

yes all these dialogues are worth revising as they are so amusing ;))) "“But Yossarian knew he was right, because, as he explained to Clevinger, to the best of his knowledge he had never been wrong.”  and “Just for once I'd like to see all these things sort of straightened out, with each person getting exactly what he deserves. It might give me some confidence in this universe.”

about 2-3 days ago I saw this film. Wikipedia describes it as an Argentine crime thriller, but the crime story is just a pretext or a trigger for a real story being the life of 3 individuals, two people- lawyers who are in love with each other since their youth and one who loses his wife as she was murdered by her teenage admirer. I am not very convince by the concept introduced in the film that a human life may stop and end for a person when he/she is young due to some experience he/she was exposed to at that age and that the rest of it, will be determined just by this one experience. But there is some rhythm, the way the story is told which appealed to me a lot. Beside this the human experience presented in the film even though  not that common still  seems plausible and may  in some cases be true. The end of the film is just surprising, as it is both a happy ending and at the same time very tragic.

I have found it on youtube Jagal - The Act of Killing (full movie)
I am going to watch it now funny enough Herzog (your link) says that he has not seen such a powerful movie for a decade, to me his films are powerful beyond any limits, so if he says so then this documentary must make a real impact.

+Agnieszka Tokarska A HOW-TO on taking  over a nations treasure and  enslaving the  people.  Same  template  has been used  for  centuries  because it  always works. Hope the  people  of  Ukraine  see it in time and  STOP  it  or join  all the nations  being  bled  to  death by the  money vampires.
