Very funny and touching.....has a happy ending.
In this 13 minute short film, the brilliantly named protagonist (Yu Ming) is a bored retail worker in China dreaming of going places and seeing things. On a trip to a library, he spins a globe on the desk and ends up pointing his finger at Ireland. After he finds out that the official language of Ireland is Gaelic [1], he learns Gaelic in order to travel to Ireland.

He learns the rudiments of the language in 6 months [2] and travels to Dublin and tries to engage with the natives in Gaelic... to comic effect.

Thanks +Tiffany Henry for indirectly leading me to this film.

[1] Yes, I know the official language*s* of the Republic of Ireland are Irish and English.

[2] It's probably very difficult to do but let's suspend disbelief and enjoy the film.
