Thank you, UP (Diliman) Main Library, for having old copies of the Philippines Free Press at your Filipiniana section! (That was expected, though.) Lost each personal copy of these two among the 1998 issues, which each featured a poem of mine (January 24 and April 11). Was so happy when your librarian/cashier told me they have the hard copies, when I visited to inquire yesterday afternoon. (Should've asked about their last copy of the esteemed weekly news and literary magazine. It was the oldest in the country: since 1907. I stand corrected, but I believe it ceased circulation a few years after its centennial? Without officially bidding goodbye? It was also closed during martial law, then revived...which is another story, or stories.)

Almost two decades ago, when I was 13, I mean 23, years old... ‪#‎PhilippinesFreePress‬ ‪#‎poems‬ ‪#‎UPMainLibrary‬
