Changing careers is like changing lanes on a super-fast highway. If you don’t signal before you switch, you may end up crashing. That’s why experts say if you’re thinking of transitioning careers, you must re-brand your skills and expertise. Otherwise, companies and their recruiters won’t see the connection. ‪#‎CareerTips‬ ‪#‎PersonalRebranding‬ ‪#‎ChangingCareers‬

Did you know…something as delicious as eating dark chocolate improves cognitive function, memory and your overall mood? Dark chocolate is also one of the most powerful antioxidants in the world. In fact, cacao is so powerful that it actually contains 15 times more antioxidants than blueberries and 20 times more than green tea. But before you start reaching for that Twix bar, not all chocolate is created equal. Make sure it’s at least 70% cocoa. ‪#‎BrainPower‬ ‪#‎WednesdayWisdom‬ ‪#‎DarkChocolateRules‬

Are you a power poser? According to Harvard Professor, TED speaker, and author Amy Cuddy, taking up a short "power pose," an open and expansive stance, can actually change body chemistry and make people feel more confident. We want to know…do you think “power posing” before an interview makes someone more “hireable”? ‪#‎PowerPose‬ read.bi/1W45KXJ

“Before we can be happy or successful, we need to first develop the ability to see that positive change is possible.” This is what keynote speaker at the Nonprofit Leadership Center Conference, Shawn Achor, says about the advantages of being happy. Happiness Habits include writing down three new things you are grateful for each day; spending two minutes describing a meaningful experience from over the past 24 hours; adding 15 minutes of fun; investing two minutes to train your brain to just watch your breath, and taking two minutes to write an email, thanking one person in your social support network. ‪#‎IncreaseYourHappiness‬ and find out more at bit.ly/1UEyMrZ
