Do you know what three cities make up the Tri-Cities in WA? Ever wonder about Hanford Nuclear Site? Visit CREHST Museum to discover the power of nuclear energy as Hanford, one of three “Secret Cities”, is revealed through a series of exhibits and rarely seen 1940s Hanford photographs.

In the "did you know" category for today:

Washtucna shares its name with a tugboat, and almost a ferry! :)

Yep, we've got some serious night sky action going out here. Minus the rain clouds western Washington gets stuck with!

Having access to NAIP Imagery is useful for a lot of things. Sometimes it's even amusing!

The 2009 NAIP Imagery caught the Washtucna Classic Auto Show in action. What are the odds of that happening, I wonder?

You can learn more about what NAIP Imagery is at the following link:

Here's an old one still lingering out in cyberspace. From the days when McKenzie's 7C Drive-In used to be a major pit stop!

My contribution to #WaterfallWednesday.

Its at Palouse Falls, WA, but its not the main falls that you easily see from the parking lot. Takes a bit of a hike back, down, and around to the river behind the falls. Was a warm day in late July, there had been lots of folks in the water here, got a rare time when no one was around.
