For the distinguished Sweet Tooth…

In the end, it's still best to wait for the one we want rather than settle for what's available. It's still best to wait for the one you love rather than to settle for the one who's around. It's still best to wait for the right person, because life's too short to waste on the
wrong one

British scientist Peter #Higgs is the joint winner of this year's #Nobel prize for physics: http://bbc.in/15jJL4i

He and Belgium's Francois Englert shared the prize for their work on the theory of the Higgs boson.

In the 1960s they were among several physicists who tried to explain why the most basic building blocks of the universe have mass.

Facebook still owns your personal photos and information even after you delete your account.

The truth is that nearly all users have no idea what they're legally agreeing to when they sign up for social networks.

The UK's Telegraph has a nice, super simple summary of some aspects of each network's terms of service.

For example, Facebook's 14,000-word terms of service gives Facebook the legal right to "use your content in any way it sees fit... Facebook can transfer or sub-license its rights over a user’s content to another company or organisation if needed. Facebook’s license does not end upon the deactivation or deletion of a user’s account."

This is Victoria. She died a hero yesterday. She hid her first graders in the cabinets and closets after hearing the gunfire. When the shooter came to her classroom, she told him that her students were in the gym. He then gunned her down and moved on. She saved the lives of all of her students. Please pass this on if you see it. She deserves to be remembered for her bravery.
