From my 9-year old son Matty (a big BIG fan) "Hi Stampy!  You should make a ride where you ride a pig on a roller coaster or a game where you try to find the rarest item in a maze.  I think that would be a good idea."

Avast Ye flea-bitten Scallywags! 'Tis time to put on your eye patch, shout "Arrrgh!" and celebrate -- for today is "International Talk Like A Pirate Day!"

The decade old tradition was started one afternoon by two friends playing a very un-pirate-like game of racket ball. "By the time our hour on the court was over, we realized that lapsing into pirate lingo had made the game more fun and the time pass more quickly," says scurvy dogs John Baur and Mark Summers, "We decided then and there that what the world really needed was a new holiday, Talk Like A Pirate Day."

The duo never expected their idea to take off, but years later people celebrate the day around the world, dressing up, playing games, attending events and more.

If you're celebrating the day, tell us, or send us a picture -- or we'll make ye walk the plank! (Okay we really won't make you walk the plank. I mean, do you know how much a plank costs these days?)

When our son asked us if he could get piano lessons, my wife and I were unsure where to take him. During a morning jog I spotted Maestro Music Center on Center Lane here in Levittown, a few days later I stopped in and spoke to Anthony Cozzolino, the owner and music instructor. Anthony was extremely kind and provided me with a great outline of how he would get our son started on his musical journey. Right from the start, Anthony set a relaxed, fun tone that made each week's lesson a joy for our son. Anthony's patience is matched only by his love for passing his musical knowledge on to his students, whether they are nine years old or ninety. Besides piano lessons, Maestro Music also offers a wide range of electric pianos, organs and other keyboards. All are very well priced and financing is available too. Our son wants to add his thoughts to this review. He says "Mr. Anthony teaches me piano very well. He's nice and he lets me play the organ after I'm done and some of the other pianos too. He's a really good teacher!"

This will be a slightly different review, as it's for work that CPR DIDN'T do. Let me explain. I stopped in regarding my Samsung Galaxy S2 which has been having charging issues. Samsung claimed the phone was out of warranty due to water damage. The CPR team said they could repair it, but upon further inspection informed me the phone had no water damage at all. They they directed me to a T-Mobile store not too far from CPR, which was a corporate store. After showing the T-mobile folks, they gave me a brand new phone. The CPR guys could have very easily done the repair on my phone and not said anything. Instead they showed class and excellent business ethics. If I actually do have any phone issues in the future, I will be sure to reach out to them!

The tree on the side of our house became diseased (Verticillium wilt), and needed to come down. We had several estimates -- one of which was unbelievably unreasonable. Mr. Daniels -- aka the Tree King of Long Island -- came the same day I called to give his free estimate. His quote was the complete polar opposite of the other one: Extremely reasonable (I was quite surprised at how good it was to be honest). There was no pressure at all: Mr. Daniels even recommended some trees types to plant when our tree was removed -- no matter who took it down. I called him after making my decision and his team was here bright and early the very next morning. I think it took just over an hour for the tree to be cut and the stump to be gone. If you're looking for speed, efficiency, courtesy and a great price, I highly recommend Tree King of Long Island. Cheers, T
