Wait 2 hours for a table then an hour for a ridiculously overpriced meal that tastes like it came from the grocery ready made food aisle but BAD. No automatic water for the table that's too fancy. One free cornbrean cupcake, don't even ask about more. Indifferent wait staff and to top it off an 18% gratuity included. Can you say never again??

Dawn Moss and her Team of CK's finest continue to supersede my expectations with each visit to Carolina Kitchen. Dawn has created a warm and inviting atmosphere which propels me to take the 1.45 hour trek (94 miles each way) to partake of excellent appetizers and cocktails (ohhhhhhh the cocktails) and the entrees. I am sitting here now with a full belly still drooling over my crab bites, catfish tenders, rib eye and lobster tail.....collard greens and candied yams.....that was just from today's visit. I am already planning my next trip! Dawn Moss kudos to you and a sincere 'thank you' for making each and EVERY experience at Carolina Kitchen a memorable and pleasant one!

Mac & cheese was over cooked and seemed like it was made out of processed cheese. I order a fish meal and only got 2 pieces of fish. They are over priced for the amount of food you receive.

Food: C Service: D Atmosphere: C+ Location: E If you want a resteraunt thats makes you fat and wants to get over come here. They charge you for changing your sides. Im attempting to eat healthier so I dont want 2 starches and veggie. Prefer it other around but thats .99. The food wasnt all that. The service was a nightmare. My date ask for pepper and the chick totally ignored the request. Would I come back? NO!!!!!

A really good place for southern style cooking. I've tried other southern style restaurants in the area - Eatonville Restaurant, but nothing could compare to Carolina kitchen. Carolina Kitchen is reasonably priced and gives good portions of food. There's a bit of a wait for dinning in but you also have the option to carryout. You will not be disappointed.

I really enjoyed this location. The indoor decor is on point, I absolutely love the color scheme and layout. The bathroom was also clean as well. I always use this as a judging factor in my rating. If bathrooms aren't clean I feel like other areas aren't either. But I'll point out some downers as well. I expect, not hope, Carolina's Kitchen to be packed during their peak hours. But I suppose my not having eaten all day added to my slight irritation after waiting for what seemed like forever. We arrived at 6:50 and was told our max wait time was going to be 40 minutes. However at 7:30pm I knew that time would be exceeded. We weren't seated until 7:40pm. You know I definitely understand the hype with this venue. I'm a true Southern Girl, you can't get deeper than Georgia, as Florida isn't a true southern state. Lol. I gave them a hall pass for the additional wait time though. I do think they need a better wait system. They have the hostess walking around the restaurant calling out names when it's your turn to be seated...this wastes very valuable time when a beeper or pager would prove much more useful and resourceful. Our waitress, Yvette, had to be new. The poor thing never once smiled and clearly looked taxed and stressed to the max, with two finger snaps honey. She had to be reminded to change the TV channel for us so we could watch the game and to to bring out our bottled water. One of the managers even ended up helping her out. She brought us more drinks and cleared our tab for the night after waiting for our waitress, since we weren't sure where she went. Our meals were absolutely delicious though. I ordered the Catfish Tenders as an appetizer. They came out hot and looked more like an entree, with the amount and size. I was glad I had help eating them. They were soooo good. Our entrees consisted of the Creole Salmon and the regular grilled Salmon. We both ordered macaroni & cheese and collard greens as sides. My Beyoncé that I ordered was super scrumptious too!! I drove an hour just to satisfy my inner soul food craving and they didn't miss their mark. Mmmmm mmmmm. Very nice.
