Here's the finished digital copy of my upcoming book cover, Designing Your Practice: An Artist's Approach to Building Your Small Business.
I am currently in the third re-write process of my book because I have exciting new material and stories that will help any new business owner grasp the concepts of learning to think like an Artist and an Entrepreneur. This book cover reflects some of the changes I have made to the overall direction of the book.
As I am self-publishing, starting with a short run of quality printed books (late Fall 2014), I have already paid for the publication costs through my coach, +Patrick Snow
. If you are interested in publishing your first book, you need find out what Patrick knows. Publishing a book is the best way to let others know about what you do. But so many people say, "I want to publish a book!", manage to write something, and never sell more than 100 books. If you want a different outcome for your business, you need to hire Patrick Snow.

I'll be taking preliminary pre-sale orders through my website as I prepare for publishing. All my initial costs have already been covered, but pre-sales will allow me to cover the costs for the initial print run (between 200-500 copies). Later, it will be available for eReaders on all major online platforms where books are sold. http://seattledirectcounseling.com/the-book/#books #publishing #DesigningYourPractice #smallbusiness #soloprenuer
Note: I should mention that the ceramic is a modern-day version of the art of kintsugi, involving the use of gold filigree to repair broken pottery. By adding gold, the value of the bowl increased beyond its original worth, and the bowl became a more valuable piece of art as well as a cherished item worthy of tea ceremony.
