Awesome place to stay and meet people from all over the world while I stayed in Zurich. It's right on the lake and near an easy train that can take you into the center of the city, just a short 5-10 min ride. Really cool spot. Lots of young travelers with a few families mixed in, I made friends from Croatia, South Korea, England, Russia, America and more. It was extremely clean and fresh, especially for a hostel, but I wouldn't expect anything less in Zurich. I should also mention I paid less than $100 to stay there for 3 nights. Awesome beers on tap, check it out!

Really friendly staff and some fantastic facilities. 24hr access and reception were a real boon. The beds were not amazingly comfortable but it is a Youth Hostel not a five star hotel.

Miserable service people. Unfriendly. Catastrophic. Don`t go there! They are very rude and look down upon you.

The hostel is nice with friendly staff. The rooms are very small as there is barely any space between the two sets of bunk beds in the rooms. Resembles a prison or cruise cabin. Secondly, i had booked the hostel on the internet looking at the flat double beds as had my parents visiting with me (senior citizens) but upon reaching, the staff gave us a room with 2 set of bunk beds. It was very difficult for them to climb up and down.

Much better than the City Backpacker - Hotel Biber. It's just a pity that you don't have any place to cook your own food and no internet at your room. And no eggs at breakfast. But it's very good that the reception understands English and it's open 24h per day. The public room is very spacy and the showers are also good.

This place doesn't look at all like a hostel. Its new, clean, and expensive. But you get what you pay for, and this is the cheapest hostel in Zürich.
