Simply put, I love this place. Whenever I'm in downtown Minneapolis for a business meeting I make sure to stop by. The food has a good full flavor with just the right amount of spice, and their beer selection is superb. Definitely the place to go if you're feeling carnivorous and just want some good craft American food and beer. Would recommend the fried green tomatoes, grits, and smoked sausage!

Terrible news from Norway definitely leaves a feeling of disgust.
Police arrived at an island massacre about an hour and a half after a gunman first opened fire, slowed because they didn’t have quick access to a helicopter and then couldn’t find a boat to make their...

Loved this place as soon as I walked in. Imagine an auto store where employees are actually glad to see you come in and are happy to help you find what you need... that's this store! Brought in a bad battery and staff went the extra mile to make sure I was good (including borrowing me tools to help me get my new battery in faster). Shopping here was an unexpected delight - would not hesitate to go back.

To summarize: great MN sushi, ok hibachi. Service was great both times I went. The place is worth the visit!

I come here about once or twice a year for a massive cut of heavenly steak. This is what they're good at. The sides (potatoes, salad, pickled watermelon) are only above average but go perfectly with the main course. The perfect steak aside from going to the butcher's shop and getting a cut of fresh Châteaubriand. I passed by this place for years without any idea that it was a steak restaurant. The interior is cozy but bustling; if you're looking for a quiet night out this is definitely not your place. If you're feeling carnivorous this is the perfect place to indulge. 5/5 - highly recommend for any steak lovers.

Spoke on phone to get help with a loose laptop HDMI port. Very friendly, offered succinct, honest, and straight forward advice on repair. Ultimately did not bring computer in shop as repair just couldn't be done effectively without getting a new motherboard. Would not hesitate to approach again for service. Extremely professional and straight forward with advice.

No confirmation within 10 mins (or period) as promised on website. Turns out they couldn't pick up in Brooklyn Park after I tried calling a few times to confirm - left me out to dry. Last minute (within 45 mins booking), so added a star for some understanding that it was last minute. Not impressed at all. Yellow Cab was the there within 15 mins of getting my call after this disappointment.

I went in to buy a new phone + plan. Store was empty - I'm the only customer. What ensued was one of those moments where you just have to mutter to yourself "amateur hour." Phone's were outdated. The staff was inattentive (busy playing with stuff in the corner) looking up to glare when I came in. Maybe I went in on an off day? Anyways, when I was finally helped I got the impression that they had no idea what they were doing. Ended up leaving and going to the Verizon store in Maple Grove rather than this retailer. The wait at the Maple Grove store was way longer as the store was crowded, but things got done right.

I love going to Cabela's for the massive selection of products (some a bit overpriced, but the shopping experience and service is generally enjoyable) - but have had a hard time working with the gun department. I've found the staff pleasant to deal with, but the average wait time at the gun counter means you should reserve at least an hour to be in store to get proper attention. Second issue with gun department is the repair process. I had two guns that I brought in for repair: one which I bought at the Gun Library that when I went to test fire the next day, realized the firing pin was broken. The second was a firearm I needed non-warranty repair done on.Gun repairs are (as I found out eventually) shipped to Ahlmans in Morristown, MN, (so yes, out of their control after they ship), but the wait time has been at the two month point now. I received one firearm about a week ago, and the other is still in question. My problem is that the wait time was completely unexpected, and I've had to hunt down information to figure out where the status of the firearms in question were. All the while, deer season has passed, and small game hunting coming to an end. I've learned my lesson.
