Generations ago, life and financial roles were cut and dried according to gender. Man: breadwinner. Woman: homemaker. Those stereotypes have, thankfully, shattered. Great article by Ronit Rogoszinski in the December KW Magazine!

Your life has probably changed quite a bit since 1997 - hasn't it? Were you single then, and are you married now? Were you married then, and are you single now? Have you become a parent since then? If you can answer “yes” to any of those three questions, then you need to look at that IRA beneficiary form now. Your choices may need to change. GREAT article by Ronit Rogoszinski! #financialadviceforwomen #financeforwomen

More questions from our Ask Carrie Pierce Series! Question: I am about to turn 54 and have noticed over this past year, I’m developing bad breath, dry mouth and bleeding gums. My gums are also receding and I’m feeling insecure about smiling! I use an electric toothbrush and floss daily but nothing is helping. What’s the matter with me? Ruthie B., Moses Lake, WA

Answer: Ruthie, I feel your pain- and probably every Midlife woman reading this does too! Ever heard the expression ‘Long in the tooth’…? Well, we’re there. #badbreath #recedinggums #menopauseandgumdisease
