This class is great. I opted for this one because of the time and date, and it was one of the cheaper one's I found. The presentation is well planned and well rehearsed and the teachers are very knowledgeable. It's also a great place to get questions answered if you have any. The one thing I will say is there is so much knowledge that it really is just a starting point. Would definitely recommend.

This classs was excellent. Mr Paulsen has concise delivery. Well spoken and perfectly conveyed all the important information. Walking away you are left feeling confident and ready to exercise your second amendment rights. You will be very satisfied with the value and completeness of this class. Nothing was lacking. I highly recommend this class. Colorado Concealed Carry, and Mr. Paulsen are doing a great job and a righteous service.

I took a class with Jacob Paulsen; it was highly informative and reasonably priced. I enjoyed Jacob's mix of serious instruction and funny, real life experiential quips. The instructor certainly made the course for me, thank you again.

Jacob: I enjoyed your presentation last evening and picked up quite a few pointers. It was certainly informational and will be of help to me in the future. What I learned the most was to always be extra cautious while handling firearms.

Amazingly bad service. Tried to register online, but the "secure" site is NOT secure. Called in and left THREE messages AND an email to register for class. NOBODY ever returned contact. I never registered and never went. And then they actually sent me a "thank you for taking your class" email and an invitation to review them here on Google. Training is important...I wouldn't trust it to folks who can't even return a phone call or register a trainee properly.

Andy, sorry you had a poor experience with our company. From your description, I would be frustrated and mistrusting as well. Can't say that I blame you, only that we will try to do better and I do feel that your experience was not typical of our company. If you didn't register I don't know how we would have had your email to add to our system in order to send you the automated thanks for attending email, but we will work on figuring that out too. Good luck in your future training!

A great class for those who are familiar with firearms and have had training in the past. The instructor was experienced and well spoken. As prior military I was expecting something along these lines since there was no life-fire exercises. A great value and I am quite happy I stumbled across Colorado Firearm Training. I do however want to say that though this course will satisfy the Colorado requirements for a CCW (CHP), if you have little or no experience with firearms you ask your instructor for follow-up training. I'm confident this course is not for everyone and I'm somewhat dismayed by the ease in which certificates were awarded. Ask you instructor for additional training if you aren't absolutely certain about your ability to handle a handgun.

I have been wanting to take a CCW class for at least a few years; however, most last a full day. Jacob's class is very informative and I learned more than I expected. He is very prompt and articulate. We completed the CCW class in a morning session.

I planned to attend the course just to get my required certificate, but along the way I actually learned quite a bit. Jacob is very knowledgeable and is an engaging presenter that keeps your attention. I highly recommend the class for novices as well as those with significant experience.

August 29th marks the 10-year anniversary of when Hurricane Katrina struck New Orleans, La. The memory of the devastation wrought by the storm and the resulting chaos is a human tragedy of such a vast scale that it endures to this day; and will well beyond. Further, the measures taken to disarm law-abiding firearm owners in Katrina’s wake should serve as a testament to why gun owners guard our right to bear arms so vigilantly.
