Only two days left to get to "Chain Reaction'. Vibrant paintings of speed and motion captured on canvas from #LeTourdeFrance to #MountainBikes and #StuntBikes . Paintings ready-to-hang can be taken away as purchased.

Well I knew there'd be a lot of upheaval over the last 24 months, moving  County, moving house twice, finding a studio space that I can breathe in and not worry about splatter :-) So two Mountain Bike Pictures finished so it's now on to the remainder of the Tour de France series. Work in progress here.

Guess that's why they call it Sun Corner (Billericay, Essex) - beautiful end to the day  - crisp snow under foot, kids being towed home from school on sledges, funky wellies and a golden glow.

#treetuesday This brings back great memories of walking a friend's dog. Many ideas born under these beautiful trees and one day there it was - shiny sunlit golden leaves in the middle of the taller trees.

Amazing close encounter for everyone, great picture.

See #Supermoon of the century this weekend

Bangalore: At 1 am on May 6, the full moon will be at 3,56,954 km from the centre of the earth . This will be the closest full #moon to earth since January 1912. The moon will appear larger in the sky than at any time. This event is also referred to as ‘Supermoon’.

Early Sunday will see the moon’s closest encounter with earth since March 19, 2011, when the moon was a scant 380 kilometers closer to earth . The next time a similar occurrence will take place is not until August 10, 2014. #Astronomers are estimating that the supermoon will be around 14 per cent brighter and 30 per cent bigger than the average full moon.

Previous supermoons were sighted in 1955, 1974, 1992, 2005 and 2011, all of which had their share of extreme weather and natural disasters. From extreme coastal tides to severe storms, powerful earthquakes and volcanic eruptions, the entire natural world surges under the sway of the supermoon alignment.

If you've not got into the Hockney exhibition at the RA yet you really should as it is incredibly compelling; the larger canvases are absorbing. Showing the Yorkshire countryside throughout the seasons and the amazing output of a professional artist who can choose his projects using traditional and new media.
11 days left with extended opening hours.

Recording the Captured show was fun. Not sure where the cockerel was crowing as it was 16:45 on Easter Monday - a bit spooky.

Chain Reaction is still on at Bartestree ... Argy Bargy or a.k.a. The Sprint  will be on it's way to France at the end of the exhibition! Good old social media (Facebook) introduced it to a Le Tour fan from England living in France ... :)

Wow, this is amazing, the last maker of real clogs in England is living just down the road. They look amazing. Well done and I hope that someone will carry on the tradition ... I'm cack-handed with anything this practical and precise so won't be offering.

This is very cool. Liking the idea of going retro with motorcycle design.

This is so true. It's just good to have a day off some times to chill in that happy comfort place :-)
