Any news on when/if +Google​ will allow the Pixel to be used on service providers other than Verizon? I was super excited about the prospect of upgrading from my Nexus 5 to a Pixel until I heard that they got stupid and evil and locked it to a single provider. I loved that I could buy a phone direct from Google and connect it to the service of my choice. I'm really annoyed at Google for this change. I want a Pixel, but not at the price of giving up the service provider I prefer. Very stupid move, +Google​.

This is an interesting perspective, especially in light of many of the posts made here about how religion is hindering science. I like the moderate, balanced approach to the religion-vs.-science debate that the author takes.

Fresno area musicians:
I'm gathering as many musicians as I can for a Christmas program (orchestra, choir, drama) at our church. I would love for you to be involved, if you're interested! Here are the details:
The program dates are Saturday, December 19 and Sunday, December 20 at 6pm. The run time should be approximately one hour.
The orchestra rehearsals will be Wednesday nights, December 9 and 16. I understand that December is extremely busy, so I only ask that you come to at least one of those rehearsals. The choir will be practicing nearly every Wednesday evening at 6:30pm between now and then (with the exception of Thanksgiving week). If you'd like to come listen or practice with us during any of those rehearsals as well, you're welcome to!
