The hotel itself has an excellent location, beautifully, well-kept rooms, & decent food in the bar. We stepped in for a bite on each of the 3 nights we stayed. The issue I noticed is that the staff seems ill-prepared, considering the reputation of the hotel. Lots of staff around, but they're always talking amongst themselves. No real hustle from the parking staff or the doormen to get the doors, even though they are standing RIGHT THERE. The cocktail waitresses in the bar also had to be flagged down for service every time. It left me with the impression that either they have high turnover or the hotel manager is never around to keep people on their toes.

In town for a trade show and stayed here. Liked the atmosphere. Wished I'd have been there during baseball season as the view was incredible from the rooms facing the stadium. Would recommend this place to anyone.

Pleasent surprise that this is now a Westin property. but smallish rooms, moderat bathrooms and small hotel itself will remind you this was a boutique hotel, and was not made to be a Westin. The heavenly beds nearly make up for it, but still, a Westin Jr at best.

This is one of my favorite places to stay in the city. The theming is completely over the top but enjoyable nonetheless. The rooms are perfectly appointed with everything you would need and there's a great bar in the lobby. Given their lower rates compared with similar hotels, I think it's a boutique concept done well.

As a flight attendant I always love staying at this hotel. The rooms are comfortable and the people are very friendly and helpful. But this time I had an issue with the room next to me smoking and unfortunately security wasn't willing to take care of it. The rooms around us were empty and it was easy to identify it as coming from the one next door. Security knocked, the person denied it, and that was the end of it. I was appalled. You could almost see the smoke billowing out when the door was opened. Very disappointing.
