I did this video the other day. Apparently +Matthew Walton is the GM of Toronto FC? Who new?
Watch the video Toronto FC hopeful striker Jermain Defoe will return next season on Yahoo Canada. Toronto FC is reflecting on what some players call a "disappointing" season, in which the team missed the playoffs. Midfielder Dwayne De Rosario says injured striker Jermain Defoe could be a "huge asset" if he returns in 2015.

This looks like an amazing ride. But I couldn't get past the ridiculous mockery of the "nice" Canadian guy not even 3 minutes into your video. I get it, it's funny when Canadian say "eh" right? But how about a bit of respect, or at least a bit of strategic editing.

I wonder where they shot the scene with the Japanese vending machines @0:40. Somewhere in L.A.? I have never seen them outside of Japan.

Congrats! I was in Nagasaki myself many moons ago. Since it's September now, I assume you're already there and settling in. Hopefully you'll find the time to post some blogs from your new home. Cheers!

Been a member for a month here, and while it's not the worst gym I've seen it's definitely not great. The good: Lots of machines and weights, relatively clean gym and locker-rooms, most things work OK. TV's on most machines, a variety of ellipticals, treadmills and cycle options. Some classes downstairs I haven't tried yet. Free towels at the door. That's about it. It's a typical Goodlife setup with lots of overpriced trainers, but no one to help out on other issues. So if you're just a run-of-the-mill member struggling with a malfunctioning or confusing machine, good luck getting help with that. The only non-trainer staff I've seen are the women at the front desk (why are they the only women?) Most are nice enough, but not knowledgeable beyond handing out towels. Most of the machines are lined up in a numbered setup, where you're meant to do a set on one then move on. However a lot of patrons will bogart a machine for 10-15 minutes, doing occasional sets, taking long rests and even walking away but leaving a towel on the machine. Since there are no staff around to enforce respectful use of machines, unless you feel like confronting people you just have to wait or work around. The changerooms get very crowded at peak hours around lunch, mornings or after work. They have separate shower stalls -- nice change from the YMCA-style collective showers -- but the water pressure and heat is inconsistent. Lockers are mostly too small for all my gear, and some have broken hinges. One annoying thing is the only sinks in the locker room are in a row in front of the toilet stalls. So after your shower when you want to spruce up before heading out you have to do it in front of the sounds and smells of bunch of toilets, not to mention the hazard of doors swinging open when the occupants leave. TMI, I know, but it's nasty and a poor design. So overall, typical Good Life. Lack of helpful staff, decent machines and weights, some poor design choices and issues with crowding at peak hours. Keep fit and have fun!
