I just had what was--by far--the worst manicure of my life here at lovely nails. I walked in to get a shellac manicure (which is $26..a high price to pay for the crappiest job i've ever seen) and the guy sat me down and proceeded to hand me a jar of nail polish remover and remove my own nail polish (as a mom of two little ones, getting my nails done is a treat and is supposed to be relaxing, I don't want to do the work!). After I was finished, he came over and started the manicure. As he was removing my cuticles, he snipped a huge chunk of skin on my middle finger which made me instantly say "OWW!", which curiously enough elicited LAUGHTER from him! Oh, ha ha, I'm glad you find my pain and bleeding FUNNY!? Then, to wipe away the blood, he grabbed a cotton ball soaked in nail polish remover and went to wipe my open wound with it! I yanked my hand back and told him, deservedly harshly, that that was going to STING and to not do that. He muttered something like.."oh, ya", and put the cotton ball down. THEN, and this to me is the most egregious thing of all, he starts painting my shellac on in the sloppiest manner i've ever seen. I literally have shellac all over my fingers, and if you know anything about the gel nails, it stays on for WEEKS, not like a normal polish. He attempts to correct the worst of his mistakes by starting over on one (which, by the time he was done "fixing it" it looked the same as it had before he started over), but the rest are just a disaster. I honestly looks like my five year old niece painted my nails. The shape of them are horrible, the shellac is all over my fingers and cuticles, it's just embarrassing. Not to mention, there was no hand massage, no spa feeling whatsoever, and the whole place is a dump. Not clean in the slightest. I want to go back and make them fix it, but I would rather pay another $20 to have a better, more professional, clean salon do it all over again. DON'T WASTE YOUR TIME, MONEY, OR NAILS HERE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
