I never really understood Open Graph until I watched this. Now, I know. Open Graph is scary. In very simple terms the internet was once made up of pages, now, thanks to social media, it is made up of people and pages. And Open Graph ties these two parties, pages and people, together. Which at first glance is awesome, but what people have to understand is that Open Graph is only possible because of Facebook. Basically Facebook ties a big pretty (most likely royal blue) bow around the entire internet, people and pages.
That is scary, really really scary.
Side note: This guy does a really great job of explaining it in terms that non-developers can understand. :)
