Whatever you do don’t go to this place. First they overcharge me, and then when I questioned the lady she said oh we just increased the prices today. I said you should tell people that. I gave her the benefit of the doubt, then I watched her touch the garbage can’s then begin to make my sandwich. Yes she did without changing the gloves. When I tried to get my money back (paid debit) she said we can’t give you your money back. The she said what about a gift card, then she said oh we can’t do that either. Not all when I said okay how about some fresh bread. Well no you have to wait until tomorrow to buy that bread. (I thought this was a fresh bread store). So I got some packaged goods for my money and left. This store is in trouble. The bread on the counters felt old & hard. Sad because it’s called Heavenly bread. No stars for this place. Oh yea…the lady was rude.

I have been eating and cooking gluten free for over 10 years out of medical necessity. While it is wonderful to have a bakery devoted to gluten free items, and their bread is delicious, their cookies and other sweets are not up to my standards. There is an unpleasant aftertaste.

The owner insulted me on what I had on because apparently the color green offended her. Then she told me that I must be too lazy to try to drive from West Mccarran and the 80 freeway at 5:00 in the evening when I told her that I'd always wanted try something from her bakery. I'm not sure what the heck made me order something any way, but it came with a salad that had brown lettuce, which she had just made right front me. I also purchased some cookies which were so foul that even teenage son wouldn't eat them and we all know the appetite of a teen. I know they were gluten free, but really I am a true healthy cookie fiend and I found nothing redeemable about them. The place was not charming or quaint or clean so, I am done with their rudeness and crappy food. They need to shut this place down forever. Oh by the way, my son said that the name of the place was awfully egotistical. This was before even stepped inside.

My husband and I had been going to Haven for about 2 years. The customer service has always been a little shotty but we liked the products and I am gluten free. I ordered some pies a week before Thanksgiving, to be picked up the day before Thanksgiving. I ordered a pumpkin and apple crumble. I paid over the phone. My husband went in to pick them up and they gave him a regular apple pie and a pumpkin. He told the lady we ordered a apple crumb and she said they were out of them. Then she charged him again for the pies. We did not figure out the double charge until the next week. He told me what happened and I thought well and apple pie is better than no apple pie. So, on Thanksgiving we went to my brothers house with just the apple pie. When we opened it to start serving it we realized that it was not cooked. The dough on top was doughy. I was very sad and upset as this was the only desert I had to eat and now I didn't get anything. We brought it back home with us and I figured I would get it straightened out Friday. Boy was I wrong!! I called Friday and was told the manager was out and that she would take my number for her to call me. She also said that I should have just cooked the pie. No call that day so then Monday I called back. Same story. Finally on Thursday I think it was, I saw the double charge on my account and called them yet again but I was very upset at this point. The girl who answered the phone put me right through to the manager this time. All I got from the manager was a bunch of excuses and never an apology. She said her apology was to refund our money for both charges. She told me that they don't give messages to her about problems so they don't bother her. She also said it was just a pie and that it wasn't a big deal. She completely down played the fact that they screwed up with the type of pie and that it wasn't cooked. she then told my husband later that I was so mean that she had to take something(pills) and go home early. All of this could have been avoided if she had just called me back and apologized. Like many other reviewers have said, they think it is our problem when they screw up. I will never go back due to this. The manager needs some customer service skills!!!

With the new management, this is a nice option for gluten free. The staff was friendly and helpful. The new menu had plenty of options and the food was very good. The desserts were very tasty. Cl an and well run

I only come here as my son is allergic. The tomato bisque was just "vile." I don't understand how a "gluten free" bakery has nothing that tastes better than the worst gluten free stuff in the box. If my son only knew how nasty this place truly was, he would just give up cookies/bread. It's only because this 7yr old doesn't know better I give it 2 stars. It's disgusting. PASS!

I had walked in hoping to buy some Gluten-free cookies. I had waited 20 mins! I was the only in there. The only reason I had waited so long was because I thought the owner (some older woman) was going to apologize. Anyway, before I could open my mouth, her cell phone rang, and she left for another 7 minutes. I finally paid for my cookies which were more expensive than whole foods. also they tasted chalky, like they have been out. I wouldn't recommend this place. The owner isn't very respectful to customers.

I'm also allergic to eggs, and when I go there to ask for the egg-free gluten-free bread that they have stored in the back freezer, the manager woman acts as if I am being burdensome and isn't consolidating at all. That happens every time I go in and ask for food to meet my egg-free needs. But once I bought some bread there, and when I pried apart two frozen slices, I found a rusty TACK baked into the loaf!! I kept the pieces and the tack and brought it in to them, and they said they didn't know where it came from, apologized once, and gave me only two loaves for recompense. In the light of how that revelation could have shut them down for good, their courtesy was still inadequate, as usual.
