At the beginning of December I placed an order for a "custom cake" to be made & picked up on December 30th. I requested a Cinderella cake in which I was told would be done. I was also told that it would have fresh strawberries as the filling. I paid in advance over $80. The morning of Dec 30th I received a phone call asking me if they could put a different type of strawberry filling in because strawberries are not in season. I reluctantly said ok. When I went to pick up the cake they brought out a simple plain cake. NOTHING custom about it. I was told it would be designed with the Cinderella slipper. The cake wasn't even the right color! They told me that they didn't communicate the right order even though the order ticket had "custom cake" written on it. I will NEVER go back to this place.

Whatever you do don’t go to this place. First they overcharge me, and then when I questioned the lady she said oh we just increased the prices today. I said you should tell people that. I gave her the benefit of the doubt, then I watched her touch the garbage can’s then begin to make my sandwich. Yes she did without changing the gloves. When I tried to get my money back (paid debit) she said we can’t give you your money back. The she said what about a gift card, then she said oh we can’t do that either. Not all when I said okay how about some fresh bread. Well no you have to wait until tomorrow to buy that bread. (I thought this was a fresh bread store). So I got some packaged goods for my money and left. This store is in trouble. The bread on the counters felt old & hard. Sad because it’s called Heavenly bread. No stars for this place. Oh yea…the lady was rude.

DO NOT GO HERE! I have seen teenagers act more professionally in customer service positions than even THE OWNER of this bakery. Literally, after calling in about a mistake with my order the owner told me that I was "a difficult customer" and hung up the phone. I'm completely astonished. I can't believe that's what she thinks is customer service. Perhaps she should consider hiring someone who actually knows what it means to manage a business.

I have been eating and cooking gluten free for over 10 years out of medical necessity. While it is wonderful to have a bakery devoted to gluten free items, and their bread is delicious, their cookies and other sweets are not up to my standards. There is an unpleasant aftertaste.

I'm noticing some old and bad reviews here and it should be noted that they are under new ownership now. We have to purchase gluten free / vegan items to accommodate my daughters allergies. We have purchased their gf/vegan donuts, cupcakes, cake and vegan flax bread and all have tasted great. We enjoy coming in and speaking with all the fun girls that work there. They gave been so helpful and accommodating and reassuring of how they handle their ingredients to ensure my daughters safety while eating food from there. I've tried other places that make gf/vegan cake and to me this place has been the tastiest.

I went to the bakery and spoke to the owner about a field trip for my Five Hearts Preschool kiddos as we are just up the street from the bakery. The owner was not receptive at all and I was quite disappointed. I had hoped the kiddos could see a small, real working bakery during our theme on Bakery.

With the new management, this is a nice option for gluten free. The staff was friendly and helpful. The new menu had plenty of options and the food was very good. The desserts were very tasty. Cl an and well run
