If anyone needs sound fx or music in their podcast here is a great way to incorporate it on the fly. A friend of mine that is an engineer at a radio station suggested it to me. The interface is so simple its incredible. Check it out. I bought it today and it allows me to trigger sounds on the fly, digital quality as im hosting my audio/video podcast. I use applause and little stingers every now and again. Also open and close music or a music bed could be fired off from here as well.
It's called Sound Byte by Black Cat. It runs $39. Check it out.

You can even trigger it remotely through an ipad or iphone. Very cool.

Hi all.  Quick question. Thanks to +Richard Cleveland I now have my Skype set up on a second PC and piping that into my main PC.  WORKS GREAT!  But now I am adding a Blackmagic Intensity Pro card to my main PC to import the video from the Skype on the second PC.  I haven't plugged in the HDMI cable yet but when I do will that interfere with audio since HDMI cables carry both?

Cool.  Im routing audio in from a mixer to the MIC stereo plug on the computer and its working great.  I use Vidblaster so Im hoping that I can just take the video from the HDMI port on the Blackmagic card and the audio from the mixer.

Does anyone know how many monthly downloads you need in order to sell advertising?  I'm getting a wide range of answers.

A very cool website about the beginnings of television.  Do you know what the first game show was?  HINT: Bob Barker hosted it later....and its NOT The Price Is Right.

If you are a nostalgia buff ...like me.  Check out my interview with a writer on the 1970s "Dean Martin Celebrity Roasts".  I had so much fun with him. GREAT STORIES!!!
