Urwerk 202 silver
Almost built from scratch, not perfect, just a proof of concept, really.
+Lon Lawrence, +Laira Reid, +KG Silos, +Mike Cunningham were discussing this watch.

Urwerk is my favourite watchmaker but $$$$ out of my range !
I still have work to do on the math, its not yet perfect
Let me know what you think

Hi Paul, sent you a comment on your previous post. This is beyond words, code master....

Weird, thought I already commented but my comment (and several others) got nuked it looks like...

Anyways...man you work fast! Great job!

Beautiful work sir. Love this app for my Samsung too!

Yup, odd, my previous post disappeared ! Thanks for the nice comments, this one had me scratching my head ! Angles, rotations, trigonometry (even tried to get the x,y coordinates on a circumference using a parametric equation for a circle http://stackoverflow.com/questions/839899/how-do-i-calculate-a-point-on-a-circle-s-circumference ) ...
+Alex Curran it sure would be handy if WatchMaker had the ability to rotate items (numbers/digits/images) around a given point (x,y) with a given radius (r)
Zooper widget has this .... [as] [/as] sweep angle of a circle around x,y and [ar] [/ar] radius of given sweep from x,y ( feature request ;) )

+Paul Hurst Paul, you are a genius.  I didn't think anyone would tackle this.  I just downloaded it and ran it at 1000X to watch the motion.  I know you're not done with it yet, but did you notice how the numbers jump around and even off the little squares as they rotate along the number line?  Still VERY cool and I commend you.  This is going to be one the greatest watches technologically ever made for this app

+Lon Lawrence yes its a lot of maths to get around some app limitations (for now) as well as my own maths limitations !!!! Its certainly not done yet, still a WIP.... In normal time lapse you don't get any jumping around of digits, bit the x,y placements need refining using mathematics along a curve...my method is a math hack !!!! (I'll keep learning and plugging away at it )

+Paul Hurst Well, I don't care what your wife says about you, you are fantastic!  LOL  I'm sure it will be perfect when you are done. One more thing, I"d really like the numbers to be in yellow like on the picture I posted.  So much easier to see on a dimmed watch that is already a dark grey (and mine is dimmed all the time) LGR  Just a wishful suggestion.

look in to how the poster of the Ressence Type 3   did it,

X and y sin and cos  functions and to sweep the circular arc that watch is what made me switch from facer to watchmaker.

+Martin Reinders you should download it and watch it in motion then you'll understand.  The other needles pop out when they get to the beginning of the time line and change to the new hour in the square box.

+sunthorn ingersoll do you have a link to Ressence3 using sin etc ? The Ressence3 I downloaded from Facerepo has no sin() or cos() formulae, just many many rotated images

+Paul Hurst Did you upgrade the minute numbers to yellow?  another post said her hour numbers were yellow but hard to see so she changed them to some other color.  Let me know when your download makes changes.

Thank you very much, great job. I love this watch.
