"ll education is self-education. Period. It doesn’t matter if you’re sitting in a college classroom or a coffee shop. We don’t learn anything we don’t want to learn."

No, that's not quite right. Education requires the student to participate in the process, and higher education should help students develop critical skills that will help them engage in self - directed learning after graduation.

But. Education also requires teachers, and teaching is a skill that takes years of training and practice to master. While these website can be extraordinarily useful in supplementing the teacher - student experience, but they cannot replace it. I'm all for using technology and new delivery methods, but not at the expense of that fundamental interaction between and teacher and a student.
