Beautiful trailz, immense shallow swimming holez ( during high tide), and tha kind of peaceful scenery one can usually only find high in tha mountainz. My one and only visit was definately a spiritual experience.

I fell in love with this park the first time I visited. It is beautiful and quite serene which makes a perfect place for meditating. I found that the grounds are maintained well. I would recommend it to anyone. Thank you, Cecilia

Don't listen to April, the Toys are in great shape compared to most parks and the smell is part of being by a bay which there are a large abundance of sea creatures that live by the shore. The smells are from being by a bay and too me the smell is good because it smells like the puget sound area.If you are that uptight and give a park a bad review for how the nature smells, then you may need to stay at a very generic park where all there is a few toys for kids to play on and nothing else

Only did a short hike around here, want to go back and check it out much more in depth... but what I did check out was great!

We love this park and have held many events here. My friends and I enjoy hiking on the easy trails through the tall trees in the deep shade on hot days as well as walking around the Rose Garden smelling the beautiful roses on warm summer days. I have brought groups for Red Hat events, where we had picnics and played many games on the neatly cut grass in the Rose Garden area using the covered shelter for our dining area. One of my favorite things about the park is the big double wooden swing, we're adults can swing back and forth.

I was completely turned off by this park. The playground was overcrowded and filthy. The beach/water front smelled atrocious, my kids could do nothing but look at the water unless they wanted to go knee deep in mud. the only good thing about the park was it had a few pretty areas to grill out, and it was very easy to find the exit. I would highly encourage anyone else to go to another park lacey, olympia or tacoma have to offer. I have always had great experiences, this was a complete waste of a saturday.
