Menu
The Coolidge Corner Clubhouse is considered, by many, the best sports bar in Boston, with tons of televisions and a large selection of domestic and imported beers.

HUGE food menu with tons of different sandwiches, burgers, and salads all named after famous athletes. Lobster roll is fantastic. The ambiance is pretty laid back. There are a ton of TVs, a solid beer selection, and overall, the food is pretty cheap.

Wasn't impressed! ! Had high hopes but it fell far short of my expectations! Pasta dish was bland, service VERY poor, nothing stood out as a plus I'm afraid!! Very disappointing! !

Fix the menu because no one wants to filter through 5 pages of food options for dinner. The food isn't anything special.

It's the most convenient sportsbar for me, but stay away from the draft beers, I don't think they ever clean the tap lines.

Love sports and large menus? Then you should def come to the Cooldige Corner Clubhouse. You get the best of both worlds here; different sport games projected on the many TV screens and an impressively large menu that is, wait for it, sport themed! Tongue and cheek attitude aside, this place is actually a fun place to grab a quick bite and a drink with a friend. Just don't show up when any major Boston teams are playing. I' asked the waitress about this and she confirmed my theory. This place can get mad packed. When I stopped by with my dinning companion, it was around 2:30-3pm so the place was basically dead. The one other time I had been here before, it had been about 11pm and it had been fairly crowded. I'm thankful that both times there weren't any major games going on. As mentioned, the menu is huge so selecting something can take awhile. I finally settled on the Cape Cod Salad, which had chicken, apple, spinach, nuts, and blue cheese. It also came with a side of corn bread. I think my sister ordered a sandwich but I sadly can't remember. This doesn't mean it was bad, just probably something I would never order for myself. Quality everything was good. A bit pricey, but good. Portions are large so I understand that you get what you pay for and then some. Overall, decent enough place but unless you are a big sport fan, do not come here during a came. It will be crowded beyond belief.

Good beer selection and that's about it. Staff is generally unfriendly and unhappy (whether it's the bartender or the waitress or the hostess). Food is basic and overall unappetizing, despite a confusing menu that is at first glance overwhelming and exciting. Went in with a group of people all very hungry and ready to eat; left with a group of people who had struggled to make it through their meals. Made the mistake of eating some leftovers this afternoon and now I feel absolutely wretched. This dive is a good place to stop for a beer or two. Do not bother with the overpriced food.

Great beer selection, and good food. The portions are massive, easily enough to take home a full meal. The menu is expansive, there are almost too many selections. The one down side to this place is the size, if you head there during normal dinner time, you'll likely have to wait for a table.

I make a trip once a year to Boston and make it a point to stop in to the Coolidge Corner Clubhouse every time I'm down. They always have a sampling of local and not-so-common beer on tap, and they have an extensive menu of pub food that is served promptly and consistently every time. The menu can seem a bit daunting, but there's definitely something there for everyone, so it's worth a read. My favorite is the Club Sandwich. The sandwich is piled with fresh deli-style turkey which, although not traditional, has a wonderful taste and is sliced perfectly. The rest of the sandwich is pretty standard for a club, with the right amount mayo on the bread to compliment the juiciness of the tomato and moisture of the turkey without muddying the flavor or saturating the bread. It's pretty easy to share with a friend, since they serve it up with a mountain of curly fries, which always seem fresh from the fryer. The nachos are really good too, expertly layered with cheese and served with salsa, sour cream, guacamole, and beans. A full order is Huge, and I always end up double checking what I ordered because even the half order is a veritable mountain. Finally, one of the things that keeps me coming back is the staff there. They're absolutely pleasant and just attentive enough as to not be bothersome, but never leave you with an empty glass of whatever it is you're drinking.
