Combining the events and properties that you track behind the scenes with data that you explicitly collect from the contacts in your database will allow you to better segment your audience.

An artist advocate for the homeless in the USA
Introduction
Dame Johnna Crider was born in Cartersville, GA but grew up in Shreveport, LA where her mother was often homeless or near to being homeless. Johnna escaped her cruel reality by writing--poetry and short stories throughout middle and high school, but never really considered herself an artist until 2004

By 2002, her mother was ailing in health and Johnna was struggling to take care of her and finish school. Johnna finished school 2 years later than her planned date of 2001 due to health issues and her mother's health crisis. Johnna landed a job at Hollywood Casino just before her senior year and graduated in 2003.

Johnna’s love of writing in her early life led her to calligraphy, and she would often go to the library and study the Book of Kells and other ancient scripts. Her fascination with calligraphy into painting in 2004--the very same day her mother almost died of appendecitus. Johnna’s art career began to take off with shows all around the Shreveport Area and she exhibited in her first art show in 2004 at the Lee Hardware Gallery in Shreveport, LA.

In 2005, Hurricanes Katrina and Rita proved a trying time for everyone in Louisiana and Johnna decided to move to Atlanta, near the town she was born in and experience the artistic lifestyle there. She ended up joining Job Corps and traveled to Brunswick, GA and St. Simon’s Island where her artwork landed her on the front page of The Brunswick News. Her dream: to open an art gallery that would sell art to benefit homeless charities all across America.

Johnna transferred back to the Atlanta Job Corps and wasted no time getting to know the artists in and around Atlanta and participating in art shows, being in art shows, While also in the TCU Job Corps program, Johnna also mastered her computer skills and learned how to design websites and business proposals.

In 2008, Johnna’s mother was diagnosed with Congestive Heart Failure and Johnna spent almost three years taking care of her mother until she passed on Labor Day, 2011. During that time, Johnna was re-evaluating her dream and her decision became final. She needed funds to start her dream. And a great way to do that was to start a nonprofit organization.

In 2009, Johnna was recognized for her work promoting homeless awareness in the USA by Czar Darius Adrik Salvo I with the title of Dame/Knight in the Imperial Chivalric Order of Kings of the Imperial Sovereign House of Kings. That same year, Art4TheHomeless, INC was founded and the fundraising for $400 IRS processing fee began.

In 2010, Johnna started learning the art of wire wrapping jewelry and currently studies under Daryl Thompson, a well known wire artist and musician who won a Grammy with the Black Uhuru for their album, Anthem.

In 2011, both her worst fear, and her dream, came true. The fear was the death of her mother, who passed away on Labor Day, September 5, 2011. On November, 11, 2011, (11/11/11) Johnna received a letter dated on her 29th birthday, November 4, 2011. It was the IRS Nonprofit Declaration Letter: Art4TheHomeless is now a 501C3 Nonprofit Organization. Also on December 1, 2011, Johnna published her first book of poetry, Release: A Journey Through Emotion in both Kindle and paperback.

Johnna was the original CEO and President, but in 2011, she stepped down and handed that title over to her good friend and fellow homeless advocate, Hart Deer. She felt at the time that she is more of an artist than the business savvy professional Hart is that Art4TheHomeless needed at that time

In 2012, Dame Johnna was knighted again by the On August 13, 2012 Prince Hans Maximas Cabrera Lochaber Rurikovich of the Imperial House of Rurikovich and the International Council Grand Master of the Imperial Order of Truth honored Art4TH Founder Johnna Crider with the status and dignity of Dame of Honor.

Also in 2012, Dame Johnna Crider will be again, the CEO of Art4TheHomeless. She currently lives in Dallas, TX with her cousins and is taking time away from the Atlanta scene to enjoy her life and take time for herself. She currently still serves Art4TheHomeless but due to the stressful past year and a half, has decided it's time for fresh scenery and the Dallas-Fort Worth area provides just the spot.

Dame Johnna Crider is also known as the Gems and Minerals Diva. She has a blog about the various types of gems, minerals, and rocks that she has come across and blogs as she learns about the types she is working with or fascinated with.

In 2013, she married and became Johnna Crider Abdul Qader and has recently returned from a leave of absence with Art4TheHomeless
