As I grow older I become more convinced with each passing day that it is indeed true that for evil and injustice to succeed in this world, the only thing that is needed is for good men (and women) to sit in quietude and do or say absolutely nothing. When we know that we are standing on the side of TRUTH, we need to be resolute in our stand and not have to always be apologetic to the ne’er-do-well of the world who bask in incessantly causing strive and derision over even minuscule matters.

The real crux of the matter is that there are too many people in the world today who are comfortable and complacent with the vast lies that are told, and are over zealous in rejecting even the smallest thread of truth. Why? Because the guilty tend to use lies as their defense shield in a battle that they KNOW they will eventually lose, but TRUTH immediately brings to light their misdeeds and craftiness and exposes them for who they are.

If we have offered an apology for any wrong(s) which we knowingly have committed, and that apology is rejected, then we have done our part. We need not continue to beg for meat from the tables of the churlish who offer us nothing more than their table scraps or rotten meat, but rather we need to move on and enjoy the luscious meat that is offered at the tables of the appreciative.

Indeed our communication with one another needs to be civil and respectful, and we must speak truth in the spirit of humility. However, after we have made our stand for what we know to be TRUE, we MUST continue to STAND and be unequivocal and unapologetic for the stand which we take.

Remember that evil can only run its course so long as good people continue to say and do absolutely nothing. The good news is that in the end, evil will be rendered powerless, and TRUTH will reign triumphant. Until that day, we must continue to do our part to be the beacon of light and truth on the hill for all the world to see.

“Meet the Mormons” is a powerful movie that transcends cultures, races, and belief systems to convey the message “there are melodies in each of us.”

During the early days of the history of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, members experienced and endured unjustified suffering and persecution. On numerous occasions, they were driven from their homes and forced to leave behind many of their precious possessions. Among those things that were left behind, lost, or destroyed were books, coins, notes, and documents which have long since been salvaged as a means of preserving history.

Members of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints testify that the Book of Mormon, published in 1830, is exactly what its title proclaims it to be, Another Testament of Jesus Christ. Its title page states that one reason it was written was so that Native Americans today might know “what great things the Lord hath done for their fathers.”

There have been great movements started in the past but they have died or been modified before they reached maturity. If Mormonism is able to endure, unmodified, until it reaches the third and fourth generation, it is destined to become the greatest power the world has ever known.  ~ Leo Tolstoy

People who profess to be followers of the Lord Jesus Christ and adhere to the teachings found in His Word are far more blessed today than members of the early Christian Church in that they are able to possess a copy of the scriptures for themselves. They do not have to rely on an ecclesiastical leader to reveal to them the treasures found in the Word of God which can easily be left to the misguided personal interpretations rendered by said leaders.
