Settled: Our office recently achieved a terrific outcome for our workers’ compensation client, an electrician, who sustained serious injuries to his hips while lifting a shelving unit on the job. His injuries were so severe he ultimately underwent two surgical procedures and was left with a permanent lifting restriction. Through our persistence and expertise, we secured payment of his medical bills and a great settlement, despite years of the insurance company denying those benefits to our client. Having the right attorney is essential.

Settled: Workers' Comp and Third Party for a car accident on the job. Comp was denying over $60k in treatment saying that some of the treatment was for preexisting conditions. Our team of persistent, if not relentless, attorneys pressed on tirelessly and as a result the bills are all paid, the client got paid for his lost wages, he received a generous workers' compensation settlement for permanency and then we resolved the third party case for the policy limits of the at-fault driver. When he walked into our office his case was being summarily denied and he owed over $60k in bills - when he walked out of his final meeting with us he had more than that in his pocket. Having the right lawyers makes all the difference.

"Nothing in the world can take the place of Persistence. Talent will not; nothing is more common than unsuccessful men with talent. Genius will not; unrewarded genius is almost a proverb. Education will not; the world is full of educated derelicts. Persistence and Determination alone are omnipotent. The slogan “Press On” has solved and will always solve the problems of the human race."

SETTLED: Our workers’ compensation client, a machinist, was injured when a piece from a factory press came loose and hit his head. The insurance company claimed our client’s head injury was “no big deal,” offered $7,000.00 to settle, and refused to negotiate for months. We prepped the case for trial and filed a motion…suddenly the insurance company wanted to negotiate. We settled the case for $45,000.00 (more than six times their prior offer), the insurance company paid 100% of our client’s medical bills, and reimbursed the injured worker for his time off from work. Traumatic brain injuries, including concussions, are often called the “silent epidemic” because so many victims of brain injuries look perfectly normal even though their injury has changed their lives forever. Concussion and traumatic brain injury victims suffer from confusion, agitation, memory and concentration deficits, irritability, decreased safety awareness and impulsivity; these symptoms can persist for months, years, and in some cases for the rest of the victim’s life. Insurance companies don’t care about our clients; they just care about their profit. If you sustained a concussion in an Illinois accident you need a lawyer on your side. Contact our office for a free case evaluation and discuss your options with a seasoned injury lawyer.

Our workers' compensation client got a great outcome on her comp case after a work-related auto accident left her with a concussion and neck injuries. Her medical bills were paid, she received compensation for her time off of work, and we negotiated a great settlement for permanency, but we didn't stop there. Our team of injury attorneys pursued a "third-party claim" against the at-fault driver and we were able to more than double her in-pocket recovery. We are good at what we do and we are relentless.
