Place is amazing!!! Caters to strict vegetarians as well. Beer selection is very large. The veggie dog was great and the toppings are are unlimited. Highly recommeded. Staff is great as well.

Cheap and tasty. $5 got me a hot dog with all the toppings I wanted. I tried a breakfast dog: chorizo chili, caramelized onions, and a fried egg on top. So good!

Great food - and you get it fast. They've added burgers to the menu at "Underdog" a secondary eating spot downstairs ONLY ON THURSDAY. But go for the hot dogs - really. Get inventive with those toppings - it's $5!! The coffee-ancho bbq sauce is amazing, as is the black truffle honey mustard. Service from the wait staff can be hit or miss, but when you let your creativity go hey, it'll be worth the wait. They have trivia on Monday night, live bands on the weekends. If you go mid-week, early evening, you avoid the overcrowding.

I love everything about Happy Dog, except maybe the way my stomach feels the next day. Truly, my only regret is usually that I can only consume a hot dog and a half! I always want to try everything. Two of my favorite are from the "suggestive weiners" list, combos recommended by the Happy Dog staff. The first is chunky peanut butter, onions, mole sauce & bacon, & it isn't too overstuffed. To die for! It isn't nearly as gross as it sounds like it might be & is, in fact, quite delicious. Second: red onions, BBQ sauce, cheddar cheese, cajun corn stick and chorizo chili. Also amazing, but it gets a little soggy - the buns aren't great - so it doesn't make for great leftovers. Get an order of tater tots & a smattering of dipping sauce to share. May I recommend the saffron aioli, Thai chili sauce, BBQ sauce? All SO GOOD - one subtle, one spicy, one sweet. Also: PBRs in a can. In other words? Rarely have I been so happy in my entire life as when I am dining at Happy Dog.

Great food. Only thing on the menu is hot dogs, tater tots, and fries. The catch is the vast array of toppings for your hot dogs and tater tots. My favorite is bacon marmalade with brie cheese and garlic sautéed escarole. They even have vegan hot dogs for my wife.
