We purchased the "cheese and chocolate" groupon. it came with 5 tastings a bottle of wine cheese and chocolate. the wine was decent. The chocolate was holoween chocolate and the cheese was a small tub of cream cheese. Dont get your hopes up. If we had paid full price for this i would have complained. The couple who owns it are very odd. She told us we would be having reds and white wines but only served us reds and then told us if we wanted to taste the whites we would have to pay extra. i gave it 2 stars because the wine wasnt horrible. Dont go to this if your expecting a great wine tasting with knowledgable people . go here if you want to drink wine and laugh about how awkward this experiance is.

I bought a Groupon and when I was unable to go during open business hours I asked to instead redeem the paid value for two bottles of wine. They told me that would be illegal because they signed a contract stating that they could only sell me the promotional value. When I tried to show them the Groupon document stating the paid value can be used for any purchase at the location, they refused to look at it. They then offered me one bottle of wine for the $39 voucher and told me it was "a great deal". I was there shaking and crying for half an hour trying to explain to them that the paid value should still be good towards any purchase I choose. They ripped me off and the place was a disgusting dump anyways. NEVER GOING BACK!

Nice try, but the owners cannot have never been to a winery. They try but don't succeed. The place needs cleaned. The white wines are SWEET, very SWEET. The reds are rough meaning little or no aging in oak. It looks like most of the aging is in plastic.Have visited four different times, no improvement seen. It is truely an experience; but don't kid yourself that this is a winery. It is a store that sells repackaged, not so tasty wine. And they are not too shy about their pricing; $20 can buy a pretty decent bottle of wine at most wine stores.

Diana and Joe were wonderful hosts and their wine was very good. We took a wine snob class and learned many important things about what red flags to look for in a five star restaurant. I would go back again if I lived closer to Tarpon Springs.

It's an old two story house where the bottom floor is made to serve wine, sell gifts, sit and drink wine while the elderly couple entertain. There isn't any music and plenty of moments when it's awkwardly quiet. The wife is a little cooky and seemed easily agitated. It was not what we expected. The wine ok and I did the wine snob groupon and I didn't learn anything. I don't recommend.

This is the best wine that I've had in 5 years, easily. I'm apparently allergic to sulfites, which most wines are filled with. The Tarpon Springs Castle Winery makes a wonderful Pinot Noir. We did a chocolate and wine pairing. While I think that the coconut chocolate was out of place with the wines, the rest of the chocolats were nice with the wines. I do think that the chocolates, which are Russel Stover, are not as nice as if they were Godiva, but they still worked well for pairing with Pinot Noir, Merlod, Cabernet, Cabernet Sauvignon and Pinot Grigio. I went home with 6 bottles of wine and I plan on doing another tasting. The owners of this establishment were wonderful to talk to about wines. Their process may take longer than your average California winery, but it's well worth the wait.

Bought a Groupon for the Chocolate & Wine tasting experience at the Castle Winery and enjoyed that today with my fiance'. Joe and Diana are wonderful hosts, very knowledgeable in wine and entertaining as well. The wines are excellent, handcrafted and rich. This is a wonderful way to spend an afternoon.

I purchased a certificate through Groupon for a wine tasting and bottle of wine. First let me say the first thing you notice when walking in is the place is dirty and cluttered. Second, I'm not sure if the guy working was the owner or not but he was so rude that we left before trying any wines. It was an older man with a walker. I have no desire to go back, and don't recommend anyone waste their time.
