Raced well after training for a sprint..I enjoy the all out pace of the sprint and the importance of every second and the transitions..can't help being disappointing that my run times fall off so far in a tri..my 5 k pace drops 25 sec per mile ...getting a bad stomach pain half way ...working through it then finishing...perhaps less carbs ? no gu pack before race ...hmm also think I need a deeper front wheel...using a zipp 303....would like a 808

Shorter cranks.............After switching my cranks to 155mm from 170mm I have had a pro Usa triathlete call them baby cranks and she seemed really negative about it. 15 mm is really not that much ...it is basically just under 5/8 of an inch..when considering people's leg lengths it seems mathematically minimal to me.  The bike set up was done by a former bike medalist in the Olympics so I just don't know what to think .  I honestly cant tell if its faster or not yet but my bike is way more aero now due to the seat height being raised and the bars lowered because my hips are "freed up"  wow I bet this is a really boring post for people ..haha sorry

Ready for the commuting season!! yay

Converting tri bike to shorter crank arms to maximize aero position and free up hip movement..seems like most say use longer cranks so I really hope this works..getting a money back guarantee to be faster.

I am starting to see more people wear the long arm cooler sleeves, they claim to cool the skin 5.5 degrees which seems good. They also seem more aero then my arms...any thoughts?

I have a new goal to qualify for the Usat Nationals in Wisconsin .  I missed qualifying by one slot in my last race.
