"...Copeland's ensemble is, in a word, sensational. (This production is) a gem, and even those well-versed in the feature film will enjoy the refresher course." - Martin Brady for the Nashville Scene. Read Martin's full review here: http://bit.ly/1lfedbE

Theatre Review: "Yes, I’m enraptured by RAPTURE, BLISTER, BURN – fascinated by the ideas, illusions and illuminations in life that provide such rich grist for Gionfriddo’s mill. The marriage of her genius with Nashville Rep’s Broadway-consistency professionalism makes this presentation an exceptionally strong beginning to the company’s 2015-16 season." - Evans Donnell for Nashville Arts Critic. Read Evan's full review below.
The plays of Gina Gionfriddo are marvelous structures where human contradictions abound and comfort sometimes comes in the uncomfortable reminders of our shared imperfections.  Her work edifies wit...

Nashville Repertory Theatre's Ingram New Works Project is getting some national love from American Theatre Magazine today! “I really do think this is a city of storytellers, and that Nashville tradition is legit—I don’t think that’s just fancy sales language,” said Nate Eppler. “That’s exciting to be around. Our city really likes what’s hip, and I think new plays are always hip. There’s no way we could have built an appetite for that; it must have already been there, and we started serving it, and both of those rose together.”
Plays in Nashville Rep's Ingram New Works Lab go from seedling to sapling. The town's new-play scene, and the appetite for it, is similarly growing.

Theatre Review: "...the new cast, led by Derek Whittaker as young Ralphie, delivers the wonderfully sardonic and altogether entertaining story with enthusiasm and a sense of theatrical reverence that hews closely to the earlier productions we've reviewed with ardor and delight." - Jeffrey Ellis for BroadwayWorld Nashville. Read Jeff's full review below.
In a city like Nashville, where art and creativity thrives, there really is nothing more heartwarming and welcome at this time of year than the onstage theatrical traditions we have come to love, like Nashville Repertory Theatre's annual production of A Christmas Story, the stage iteration of the classic film version of writer Jean Shepherd's nostalgic memoir of his boyhood holidays in Indiana. With all the iconic imagery of that Ā“major awardĀ” ...
