1234yf Refrigerant Is Here: What Is It?

Good question! 1234yf refrigerant is the new refrigerant that replaces the old R134a. It is a colorless gas and has very minor impact on our atmosphere. After just 11 days, this chemical is breaking down in our atmosphere. This is in comparison to 13 years for the R134a refrigerant! Wow, what a difference.
Many new vehicles are now switching to 1234yf refrigerant. If your car uses R134a, you will need to keep using it, but when you buy a newer vehicle you will most likely switch to the 1234yf refrigerant. Want to know what refrigerant your vehicle is using? Check ….

Why do car tires go flat?

Flat tires can happen for several different reasons. Sometimes they go flat by what we do, but most often it's what we DON'T DO that effects our tires the most! I've listed, in order, the most common reasons cars go flat on our vehicles
1. Alignment issue: more than 90% of vehicles on the road today are out of alignment! Wow! When cars are out of alignment it causes tires to wear prematurely and incorrectly. This can lead to unsafe driving conditions...

What could be causing my car to shake while driving?

A shaking car can really increase that stress level quickly! The good news is that there are 3 fairly common reasons that could be the cause of your car's shaking and it shouldn't cost you an arm and a leg.

Here are those three common problems that can cause a car to shake:

1. The first and most common reason for a car to shake is related to tires.  Out of balance tires can make your car shake. This starts around 50-55 mph, but starts to get better at speeds over 60 mph. If this is the case you will need to rotate tires. Don't be surprised if you also need to replace some or all tires as well. Preventive maintenance is ALWAYS the better way to go.
