Hipsters fill up on heaping plates of homestyle comfort grub plus cocktails on the big heated patio.- Google
"Breakfast burrito, breakfast quesadillas, eggs's all fantastic!"
"Wait staff has never been anything short of pleasant and accommodating."

This place makes me happy. One of the best atmospheres in LA for me. Food is good. Breakfast is best. Go during the week of possible or wait an eternity on weekends.

Love this place!! It's very homey/cozy and the outdoor section is really cute! The service is great- and the food too! The chicken and waffles seemed to have lots of reviews so I decided to try it- the chicken was a bit too black peppery for my personal liking but over all it was great with the waffles! I definitely recommend this dish! I also HAD to try the bacon mac n cheese! It was really tasty and a good portion for sharing! Looking forward to trying some of their drinks next time :)

This place is a gem. Beautiful outdoor seating with incredible trees to provide the right amount of shade. Every seat is the best seat in the house.

Nice little place that just looks and feel perfect for brunch. I've been to the Home in silver lake, and have never particularly enjoyed my food there, which is a shame. But I had a pleasant time at this location the last time I was here. They have valet here, but the restaurant is in a neighborhood so I find parking nearby. I went in for brunch knowing what I wanted, and success! The food was actually really good this time around. I ordered the tuna melt which comes with your option to one many sides! I chose the coleslaw so I could put it on my tuna melt. It was delicious. I also tried some bites of the chicken parmigiana with comes with pasta and garlic bread. That was good too!

TL;DR -- This is a unique place that serves great Americana. Highly recommended. The restaurant has an unbeatable design. It's something to experience by itself, if not for the food. Most of the place sits outside, sharing it's surrounding with trees and the outdoors. There are multiple elevations to sit, and really no one spot is alike. There was only two of us, so we sat at a table in the main area. The food was also solid; great Americana. For an appetizer, we ordered the macaroni and cheese, which was great. For my entree, I ordered the Home BBQ burger, which was amazing as well. I ordered a signature cocktail, too, but forgot the name. It was an oaky whiskey-based drink which went well with my food. The service was stellar, too. As a Las Vegan enthralled by Los Angeles, we got into a great conversation with the waitress about the area. Overall, it was a excellent experience.

Homey is the only right word for the food offered here. I came here one day before finals began, and sat outside and ordered pasta. Normally I'm not a huge pasta person, but this place had one of the best pastas I've ever had (and I've been to Italy). Highly recommended, and would return here to just to eat it again (now if I could only remember the name of the dish....) The ambiance is gorgeous as well. Outdoor seating, a koi pond/fountain in the middle, and outdoor heaters for those 'cold' los angeles nights. Slighty pricey for the kind of food, but hey, ambiance adds to that price tag.

Be forewarned - I came here with a party of 3 for brunch/lunch around 12:30 and we waited more than an hour in the cold to be seated without so much a word of warning from the servers that it would be so long. Getting seated as two is much, much faster. Home Restaurant definitely has some decent food but it certainly wasn't worth the wait.
