I took my brother here for his birthday. There was a mosquito in his food. the waitress simply said, "That happens all the time here." Filled with disgust, and still having to pay for the dish, my brother and I will not be coming back here again.

Dinner for family of four on a Saturday evening. Crowded and a long line, but made reservation and was seated immediately. Service was prompt and friendly. Calamari was delicious although the portion was small. Dragon roll (sushi) was very good. The sweet-chili glazed salmon was shared by two adults and the chef split it on two plates. The fish was fresh. Kids enjoyed the big kahuna cheeseburger and soft shell crab po boy. For dessert, the ultimate fudge brownie was massive. Altogether a very pleasant on a winter evening for a reasonable price after shopping at the mall.

Happy hour food is so filling and cheap compared to apple bees or Fridays.

Sort of American, sort of sushi. This is a great option for happy hour because the specials are inexpensive. I usually order a few appetizers and one of the skinny drinks. I love the fire place in the bar area. Don't sit at a regular table - the bar is much more lively.

We visited Kona Grill in Woodridge, NJ. I am here from Chicago visiting my sister and nieces. We were looking for a place that offered sushi and vegetarian options and that had a nice atmosphere to enjoy quality time with family. I must say we were very impressed with this place! The dish I ordered was superb! I order the Sea Bass, Kudos to the chef! It was probably one of the best I have eaten, I love Sea Bass, so I order it any opportunity I get. I was also highly impressed with the interior decor of the restaurant and how pleasant the hosting staff was. I especially want to comment on our waiter. His name was Cor, he was probably one of the best servers I have ever encounter! He was so friendly and engaging. He had great recommendations from the menu options. He was attentive to our needs always made sure our table was taken care of. He treated us like we were his friends, engaging us in conversation and jovial jokes, it was like he was part of our group! In the end, he even gave me a VIP gift card so I can visit the Kona Grill back home in Chicago. He really made our experience worth our while, and I now have a great memory of my visit to New Jersey! :) I would love to come back to this restaurant in the future!

WHAT HAPPENED TO THIS PLACE? For my wife and I, this used to be one of our favorite restaurants, we had been eating here for years. Then about 1-2 years ago, there were some changes made to the menu, the hours were cut shorter, and ever since then there has been a decline in the quality of food and service. This most recent visit was the last straw for us - the sweet-chili glazed salmon had NO sweet-chili glaze (what's the name of the dish?) and was SALTY to an unedible degree. I sent the order back, and luckily was not asked to pay for it (although I left the restaurant hungry). My wife ordered the hamburger with no cheese and no onions, which seems to be too complicated for their staff to get correct. First we were told that french fries were unavailable, which she wanted. Then the first time we received a burger with cheese, sent the order back, then we received an undercooked RAW hamburger, sent the order back again, then the third time we received a burger WITH CHEESE AGAIN, sent the order back and asked them to just put the new burger in a to-go box because we were done with this place. Behold, when we got home, we saw a sloppy poorly-made burger WITH ONIONS. C'mon, I get better service at M*cDonalds, even on the worst of days.

My personal favorite is the philadelphia sushi rolls. The edamme is deliciously spicey but not to hot. If you haven't been ..its a must go.
