I remember this day. A super nice spring bike ride, and then, early dandelion green salad and Maple Tree water! Great little lunch in the sun, by the river.

I had not posted on my old photo blog in years. But it makes a dime now and then, so why not show a few slides from last weekend..
I was in Minneapolis on business. Staying in the Aloft Hotel on Washington provided a nice look at the future home of the Minnesota Vikings, US Bank Stadium.

Incredible place for stereo photography geeks! Perhaps Bennett will become known as the godfather of virtual reality for his pioneering use of stereoscopic imagery. I took the opportunity to link the most historic photographic studio in America, to the future, by creating 360 degree photospheres which I can view in the Oculus Rift.

An excellent little hiking park full of wooded, hilly tails, and fantastic sunset views of South Twin Lake. Fishing, wildlife, and nature photography. Quiet friendly environment.

I truly enjoyed a veggie Omelet and a cup of coffee one recent Saturday morning. Sitting in the front, for a picture window view of main street Amery, I was comfortable and pleased. I relaxed and used the wifi to read my email while waiting. And even though there was a large church group meeting in back, service was excellent and timely. My only criticism would be portion size. I've have huge fulfilling veggie omelets before.. for 7 or 8 bucks, ya kinda want more then a 2 egg deal. I had to order an extra egg and toast, after the main dish, because I was still hungry! In the end, I got out of there for 15 bucks and had a great morning. It's a fine place to visit.

Awesome and friendly staff (and Board of Directors) really make this humble thrift shop a vital center of the community. The merch could be changed out a bit more.. but their location in a historic building makes this store one of a kind.
