I want to keep the thought of rosemary and sage on the back of my tongue.

Self-driving cars will have different algorithms. These will any differently in crashes, favoring an eight year old over an eighty year old, for example. It's conceivable that those demographics will rally behind certain companies. Ford - The car for the Young! Corporate tribalism. Hrm.

When what you've got isn't what makes success and what you haven't got is necessary to have success, then what do you do when you can't trade what you've got for what you haven't got because there's a cost to that trade you can't afford to pay because.. you've had no success?!

I am my own reference point. Anyone who has significantly more than me has more than their share. Some are more worthy than i and deserve more (of whatever the universe has to offer). Some of why i am worthy of more than i have is as reparations (from the universe) for having given me so much less than i needed when i needed it most, in my formative years. By this standard, someone who deserves more than i is probably deserving because they were treated worse (by the universe).

Perhaps the most deserving person of all is now the worst of society because they never had the chance to be anything else? And by that standard we are doing them the greatest possible injustice when we treat them as beneath us.

Don't multi-task your eating. Focus on the food. Eat as much as you want. With a little practice you can get so much fulfillment out of that first cookie that you won't want to finish the box.

In the "spiritual" world there can be win/win and lose/lose situations. The "real" world is a zero-sum game.
